Finished reading this book recently, and was impressed in how the author made the subject matter easy to comprehend by a layman. Too many books in this field, tend to be too "academic" and are hard to follow if one is looking for an understanding of the complex brain. Interdisciplinary material to provide a more holistic understanding was also there in abundance!This book certainly helped me gain a better understanding, and hopefully, find a path towards a more calmer and stressfree approach to living. A timely addition , when we are all having to face more stress and anguish in life due to the covid pandemic.

I’m barely halfway through this book and I’m already putting what I’ve learned into practice with profound results. As a “busy” entrepreneur, parent, and advocate, 2020 has handed me the biggest challenges of my life. Everywhere I turn my mind is continually over-activated, the inner voice chatter gets louder and the anxiety creeps closer. Calm Brain Powerful Mind is helping me understand why this happens and how I can find my natural state of being - my creative self - in the silence of awareness. I’ve been attracted to these concepts before, but never had them explained in a way that my left-brain could fully understand. These insights are helping me set my thoughts aside for a few beautiful moments at a time, and reclaim the peace that I need to live out my purpose.

Calm Brain Powerful Mind provides wonderful insight into what happens to us when we lose touch with our true inner self and what we can do to correct this. I started reading this book out of curiosity more than a desire to correct a problem I didn’t even know I had. However, the more I read and thought about it, the more I realized how much at peace I was becoming with myself, and who I am. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has interest in returning their mind to a much better state of being, one without the day to day stress that tends to dominate us whether we know it or not. As someone who is always dealing with the constant pressures and demands of a busy personal and work life, this book helped me to better understand how to deal with and work towards eliminating my anxiety and stress. It helped me to better understand why I often feel the way I do and provided me with the tools and methods to work towards leading a stress-free life. I recommend Calm Brain, Powerful Mind for anyone looking for help to eliminate stress from their lives and become a better person.

To be honest when I bought this book it was to support my best friends dad on his book release. Then I started to read the book and I could not put it down. The book is amazingly written. I highly recommend this book to anyone and I cannot wait for another book to be published by this author.

The author's explanations and illustrations of the workings of our creative right brains and practical left brains are enlightening. He provides the steps and tools for breaking the cycle of stressful negative thoughts as he takes us on a journey towards a peaceful state of mind. The chapter on quantum physics and mysticism is fascinating.
