I used these fans to replace both fans on 3 years old y540 legion. Works great. just like the originals.

So these I ordered after the bearings in one of my laptop's fans went kaput, and they worked as good as new and were easy to install (though the Lenovo Legions are annoying to get into with a brittle shell, though not the fan's fault). Only thing is, they're not great fans in the first place, but hey, they fit for your device and if yours has also gone then these are a fine replacement.

I have a Y540 and the larger of the 2 fans broke. Laptop speed wouldn't go above 0.78 gHZ. Couldn't find fans for the Y540 ANYWHERE and checked on Reddit and saw that these ones fit. Didn't want to pay for professional installation so I ordered them and they came in the next day! Took about 3-4 hours to disassemble my laptop and replace them, just watched a YouTube video. Need 2 different size screwdrivers but easily doable for an amateur. Turned my laptop on afterward and aha! 3.6 gHZ and quieter than ever. :D

I bought this as a cheaper replacement for my y540 gpu fan. It started to start and stop. The y530 fan fits, but is missing an extra hole+screw to mount to the y540 board. This is ok though since the other 2 screws secure the fan in place
