This review is for the 3 large drawer wood file cabinet. It took a long time before I ran across this one. All the others were metal. Very happy with it. All the pieces fit together perfectly, well engineered and super sturdy. But it took a very long time to put together, over 4 hours, not complaining though. I'm 71 with arthritis, and fumble around a bit. There are over 50 very small screws that I would have a difficult time using a drill with. Also 32 - 1 and 7/8ths inch screws with an allen head. Screw driver and allen wrench provided. The wood finish is very nice, the drawers work very smoothly and again super sturdy. I just love it. The only problem I ran across was the rear of the drawers. The pilot holes were not deep enough for the 1- and 7/8ths inch screws to put on the back panel. The last half inch of tightening was very difficult and started to crack and bulge out the side of the drawer. This does not affect the performance of the drawer though.

Got this to get better organized in my home office and to get out of milk carton file system. It was really easy to install - I do highly recommend a drill driver with hex bit to greatly shorten the screwdriver time. The small bag of extra parts was a really noce touch. Parts were labeled and instructions easy to follow. Drawers slide smoothely. A great cabinet at a great price.

I needed a smaller file cabinet. This is very heavy and well built. It took a while to put together - there are a lot of parts. Instructions say to not tighten until completely together - very true, which is the reason for the 4 stars on easy to assemble. I got it all together and realized the locks didn't work. Had to loosen a lot of screws - get it locked and re-tightened. All the tools are included which was helpful, but the allen wrench was so small, my fingers hurt by the time I was done. Overall, very happy with it.

Very nice looking and extremely sturdy. Took a while to put together, but I knew as I progressed it would be worth because of the incredible reinforcements in the design of this 3-drawer file cabinet. I especially appreciate the locks and keys for each drawer. Well worth the money!

I was reluctant to buy the three drawer file cabinet because of reviews of how it’s difficult to put together. If possible possible, I would recommend two people put it together, but definitely manageable for one person to put together. It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put it together, we received all the parts and all of the screws. Just take your time and be patient, and pay attention to the instructions and once you put it together, you’ll be so happy that you ordered this file cabinet!

This piece of furniture is of poor quality. The locks cannot be installed because the holes do not align, and the provided screws are too small and of the wrong size. Additionally, it is missing the white plastic inserts for the mounting screws on the sides of the drawers. I cannot return the item because it is too much trouble to disassemble and repack. A replacement had been sent to us to use it for parts to finish the assembly; still several issues of missing inserts and parts not fitting together. Overall, it has been a waste of time and money.

It's great quality once assembled...but 3 stars due to assembly. They provide a great screw driver - but 32 long screws require use of small allen wrench - hurts and takes too much time. If the long screws in package 1 are simply replaced with screws we could use the screw driver on -- I would move this rating to 5 stars. But until then...just don't put yourself through this assembly.

I purchased this item in November 2022. I am a senior with a disability and due to some unforeseen issues, I was not able to put it together until this week. I was very happy with the cabinet, however, once the drawer was assembled, it did not fit. I took the drawer apart to make certain I had put it together properly but the bottom line is, it simply does not fit into the cabinet opening.I'm frustrated and disappointed and have spent an enormous amount of time on it. Unfortunately,the return window has recently passed as of Jan 31/23, however, I want to hear back from you as this product is useless to me as is.Update:After my review, Songmics Direct reached out advising that they very much wanted to make things right.I had my doubts and ended up disassembling almost all of it, however, Songmcs Direct stayed with me and I did have a piece turned the wrong way. I've added a 6th photo showing the finished cabinet.The service provided by this company, most notably Alice, was excellent. After suggesting it would be helpful to have some wording along with the instructions, they are forwarding this on to the manufacturer.I have now changed my rating to 5 stars and I sincerely thank them for sticking with me. They did indeed make things right!

It came quickly, although to the wrong door and I had to carry it and the other pieces up a flight stairs as per typical of Amazon deliveries these days.It was easy to assemble - follow the instructions folks. Comes with a few extra screws and connectors.Looks great.

Nice an sturdy, perfect for some files and pencils. Decent height.

Easy to put together solid, functions as it's supposed to. Supports my printer. Great addition to my home office.
