I was pleasantly surprised to find that it makes a significant difference to the visibility of the LEDs and while they don't match the brightness of my other Razer devices the keycaps have really helped to bridge the gap. They were really easy to install as they come vacuum packed in the keyboard layout, and comes with extra keys and different space bar sizes just in case. They feel great to type on as they have a grippy texture almost like extremely fine sandpaper. It's far more pleasant than it sounds. The sound profile of my keys improved slightly with these over the original ABS caps as well.
