Banshee Replacement battery for Black & Decker VP110 VersaPak Gold 3.6-Volt

This battery is a great replacement for the Black & decker which were getting expensive. It doesn't fit quite right, and I have to keep bashing is on my hand to get to continue working, but it is cheaper than the Black & Decker, and otherwise works in all of the power tools that I have.

Although the OEM battery would still recharge and operate my electric screwdriver, just by switching over to this aftermarket replacement battery rejuvenated my tool. This replacement battery is slightly thicker than the OEM one so it fits snugly into the tool. It also has a taller locking ring at the rear that prevents the battery from falling out during heavy use. (A common problem I had with the OEM batteries that I used.) Fits right into the OEM wall charger with no problems. I am very happy with this purchase, and I will purchase more in the near future.

The battery works as advertised although it du a bit tight in my tools. I use it in my screwdriver and handi light. Works ok. Longevity remains to be seen.

Very sturdy has amazing battery life and they work better than the expensive ones that have a gold color.

This is the first of three vendors that I attempted to purchase this battery. This particular one… Won’t fit into the charger correctly. Won’t light the charger up to indicate that it’s being charged. Won’t fit into the flashlight all the way!

I did not have to buy a new electric screwdriver. I'm happy.

The batteries charge fine but don't fit in all the B&D tools & appliances. They are just "good enough". I received the shipment in a timely manner with no trouble. I would not recommend these batteries, I would rather have the original gold which cost more money.

How can you rate longevity when you have only had it a month and only used twice.
