Is this or the mevo plus better for live streamibg to Facebook in a small church?

Please go with the Mevo Start. The Mevo plus battery is short unless you purchase the bulky external battery. Whereas the Start battery is internal with a 4hr plus life. When use it at our church services and the pictures play back is phenomenal !!! Blessings!

Yes. It can stream on cell phone data.

WIll the microphone input takes a feed from the digital mixer?

According to the description up there ^^^ you can plug an analog mic into the 3.5 in socket and, as for digital mics, it explicitly mentions that digital audio input can be plugged into the USB-C socket.

How is the audio on this camera, specifically how is it on live music?

The audio is great in general and for live music compared to the PC we were using to livestream.
