Let's start with how easy it was to install these on my child's bike. Even for a non-handy dad like me, it was a breeze. The adjustable kit fits perfectly on bikes ranging from 12 to 20 inches, so it's versatile and will grow with your child's bike. The most important thing for me is my child's safety, and these stabilizers offer just that. They provide excellent support, keeping the bike steady and preventing those wobbles that can lead to scraped knees and tears. Bought these for my grandkids bikes which were hand me downs and the original stabilisers lost. These are of good quality and robust. Easy to fit. Once fitted they fit well and stay in place. Very happy with the purchase.

I like how sturdy it is and easy to install. The wheels are quite nice and chunky. ---------------------------- When my child actually rode on her bike with these stabilisers fitted it turned out they were useless. They do not stay in place and keep moving so not fit for purpose. There should be something to hold them in place sideways for extra support like some other products e.g. skylark stabilisers from Bobbin

Unfortunately if you have a BMX they probably won't fit. The rear wheel bolts that these fit over are too thick on a BMX to fit through the various holes on the stabilisers. Ended up using these for another bike instead. I also found one of the wheel bolts supplied was ever so slightly too short. It came off mid ride even though I had done it up very securely... any tighter and the wheel would not have been able to turn.

Arrived missing the larger washers that go between each axle bolt and the outside edge of each wheel, but I had some spare ones lying around so used them instead. LHS wheel fell off on the first ride as the wheel rotation is always trying to loosen the nut from the axle. I've added loctite for the time being but will order a proper set of training wheels elsewhere. Avoid.

Da die Originalstützräder von unserem "Lernfahrrad" für die Kurze kaputt gegangen sind, haben wir kurzerhand diese universalen Stützrader bestellt. Im Lieferumfang ist alles Enthalten, was man zur Montage am Rahmen oder der Radachse benötigt. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten waren die Räder montiert und durch die Rasterung perfekt auf die Radgröße eingestellt. Leider hat eine Unterlegscheibe gefehlt, die wohlmöglich entwichen ist durch den gefalteten Karton, war aber kein Problem, ich hatte ja noch Ersatzteile von den alten. Allen Fahrversuchen und ersten Kurzausflügen haben die Räder mit Bravour Standgehalten! Top!

Consider how these stabilizers are mounted and whether they will fit your bike before you buy. Will a chain guard be in the way? Are the wheel nuts accessible? It may seem obvious, but I can see in the reviews that a few buyers did not make such considerations. The stabilizers fit my sons 16" bike well. I had to add a few extra washers to clear the chain guard but I knew that and was prepared. The package already comes with a few optional parts, like the extension nuts, but I opted not to use them as I only needed 4mm extra clearance. On image 6 you can see a square bracket that has a pin in one side that can go into the dropout in order to prevent the stabilizer from rotating, which works well in my case. If your bike has no usable dropout, then you might be able to use the support bracket (image 6-1) instead to prevent unwanted rotation. If neither of these options work for you, then you should probably look elsewhere. The stabilizer arms are made from thicker metal than the photos give off, which was a positive surprise. Only slight negative is the stabilizer wheel bearings. I had to adjust the alignment to get less friction on the axel, but they are still a bit stiff. Not a huge problem though.
