Well worth the money for most home projects! Cuts like butter through up to 2” limbs. I took down some tree branches and was amazed how fast the job went. No oil, no gas, no muss or fuss. Just put it together, tighten and push the button.With the two batteries you get about an hour of continuous use, maybe less. After that you should disassemble, recharge the batteries, clean, reoil the chain and reassemble for round 2.Lightweight and easy on the wrists, good chains that cut well (so far), and a plastic case that holds it all. Very convenient.And not complaint is that the batteries are not compatible with the same company’s grass and mini hedge trimmer.

This little powerhouse is one of the best things I've bought on Amazon in the last couple of years. The price is so low that the risk is minimal. If it didn't work I could just return it. But right out of the box, this mini chainsaw was a delight. It cut through branches like a hot knife through butter, and the battery lasted longer than I did: By that I mean that I had cut everything I wanted the first day and there was still plenty of juice left. I used it again over the next two or three days before I recharged it.I had been planning to have a professional come and do some yard cleanup (limbs, branches, small trees) after a storm. But with this remarkable little chainsaw, I was able to accomplish all the work myself. Even the brush removal was minimized, since I could so easily cut branches down into small logs for the fireplace. The savings of not having to hire additional help has now paid for the chainsaw at least ten times over so far, and it's still working fine.I'm delighted to offer such a great review. This little dynamo really delivers!Some caveats: I'm a fairly fit man, generally handy and comfortable with power tools. Although this tool so small and easy to handle that it actually looks like a toy, it is very powerful. In the wrong hands it could really hurt someone. I would advise extreme caution if there are any children around. It has good safety measures built into it, but any power tool can be dangerous if used improperly. Since this is designed to cut things, and since it works very well, it is more dangerous than most other power tools. Be sure that it's used only by responsible adults.

This powerful little chain saw has cut through many branches, very powerful for battery operated. The safety cover is very useful for younger users. It is Iight weight and versatile enough to cut over-head if necessary. The performance and ease of use have had me recommending it to all my family. Only down side is that the chain has started to come off easily and I don't know where to put the chain saw oil, if anywhere. I have not cleaned it but think it would not be to difficult.

I have somewhat weak wrists and this little saw is not too heavy for me to use. At one point the chain came off, but i was able to put it back on in no time at all. I put the saw through a bunch of work, and granted, some of the branches I wanted to cut up (probably more than 6" diameter), were a bit too much to handle.All in all, a very good machine with a great battery life. I am not sure how long they would last; however, they did noy tun out of juice while I was using the machine.

With a heavy wooded lot, I have trees of all ages and sizes. There is plenty of trimming needed that garden shears can't handle but for which a full-scale chainsaw would be overkill. This is incredibly easy to handle, very powerful and has made maintaining the property much easier than before. Highly recommended!

Cuts great,the chain comes off alot while using it. But when it's on it cuts really good.Very simple to use.

Update:well it didn't make it a year before it died and stopped working so I got about 4 months of use out of it total but had it for 7 months. I might pull it apart and find out why it stopped working if I do I'll update so people know what to watch out forThis saw has come in really handy. I use it around my yard alot and use it to trim shooting lanes for hunting durn the off season. It has also been helpful for brushing in duck blinds. I wish I would have bought one sooner. The batteries last a long time and charge good. The only problem I have found is that when I'm using it alot. It will stop working and I have to disconnect the battery and then put the battery back on but that's not a big deal to me.

i use it for my garden and its excellent and lightweight.hopefully i will last. could not find instruction on how to clean it or oil it.

The description is mostly accurate, the one exception being "2 replacement chains"; to clarify, it comes with two chains in total (a chain and one 'replacement' chain). The batteries are 21V nominal as described, likely a series string of five 18650 cells. The charger is tiny but works well with red/green LED to indicate fully charged. The motor is reasonably powerful, chopping through branches very quickly. Description says about 5m per second chain speed, and it might well be. After some very heavy use, I notice that the batteries' plastic case near the batteries' terminals are all slightly deformed due to heat from the terminals' contact resistance; they sure do design these things to draw incredible current (maybe ~20+A ?) from the battery packs. There is an overheat protection system (on the motor?), and it takes quite a few minutes to recover; seems to be built into the saw since swapping battery packs doesn't get it going any quicker. Nothing disappointing of any significance to report. If it wears out, I'd probably buy it again.Edit: Ordered a 2nd one. It'll be nice to have two extra chains, two additional batteries and a 2nd charger.

Very good mini chainsaw! We'll see how it is over the long term. I cut down some tree branches that were too close to my roof.

Had the product less than a month and it's already not working how it did when first purchased. It's sounds rough and doesn't run nicely. Theres no way for the heat to really escape when using so pretty sure with heavy usage the motor starts to fry from the heat.

purchased saw sept. 2023. saw worked good. was using saw june 2024 and saw stopped.waited for saw to cool down,changed battery still wouldn,t start. notified supplier, within four days they replaced with another complete unit. very impressed with saw and service. barry, nova scotia
