Herdez Salsa Casera, 7 Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

I love, love, LOVE Herdez Hot salsa! Packed into that little 10 oz can is a TON of salsa flavor that I use in multiple dishes I make. Not just for dipping -- I have thrown a can or two into rice, soups and even stews. It is a must for a Mexican omelette; terrific for spicing anything with chicken and cheese, and wait until you try it on that juicy grilled burger!Really, there are so many ways to use this product that I find myself constantly low on supply. How does it contrast to fresh? Fresh is always #1 in my book, but convenience is # 2. This holds true especially when I need a hot salsa in a soup or casserole, the value aspect of a perfect blend of flavors with a robust "kick" cannot be that can be opened and tossed into whatever in a few seconds, the value cannot be overstated! (Not to mention...but have you tried to find a hot salsa in the grocery store lately? They do not exist, unless they carry Herdez OR you like to pay too much for a product at your closest specialty store )Seriously -- whether your rank in the kitchen is Beginner, Intermediate, Good or outright Outstanding, Herdez needs to be available at all times in your pantry

I ordered this because the reviews said it wasn't very hot. The label does say hot, but the salsa is kind of mild, which is what I wanted. I also wanted cilantro, which is hard to find in store bought salsa. It's also great that it comes in cans instead of glass jars that can break during shipping. Will definitely buy again!

A jar of salsa frequently goes bad before the jar is finished. Opening a cup at a time promotes less waste.

My favorite salsa far and away. I use it almost every single day in some dish. From just adding heavy cream to it and eating as a soup to pouring over fish and spinach and baking. I love it. The size of the can is perfect for individual servings.

Amazon did not indicate the salsa was the hot variety. I was expecting the mild salsa. Very disappointing!!! Need to be clear on your advertising!!

HERDEZ IN THE LITTLE CANS IS THE BEST. EVEN BETTER THAN WHAT THEY SELL IN THE JARS. WHY? I DON'T KNOW BUT ITS AWESOME. ALSO THE CAN GETS USED UP AND DOESN'T GO BAD. THE JARED SALSA IS NOT AS GOOD A FEW DAYS LATER. REMEMBER FRESH, SMALL CAN OF HERDEZ! CANT GO WRONG.

The price is a serious rape. Last time I purchased the case for somewhere around $55.00. Now it’s embarrassing what I paid. I won’t pay it again. It is sad. It’s a great product
