Rachael Ray Jumbo Chillout Thermal Tote, Insulated Soft Sided Cooler Bag

Haven’t bought this type of bag in a while(a while being pre-covid)… I found them hard to find in general store except seasonally(spring/summer). This bag didn’t disappoint! Good, sturdy, size-able, holds temp. Does what it needs to do and didn't break the bank!

I don't really understand why this blue/brown color is much cheaper than the others, but it works very well for my frozen foods when shopping. I was previously using a sort of bubble wrap insert in a reusable bag and this bag keeps my frozen foods far colder on my trip home on the bus. It's a great size for my usage. Love that it has thoughtful additions like a little loop for hanging it and Velcro for holing it together when folding it up. It just barely fits in my backpack folded-up.My only real concerns with the bag are minor. The zipper does not seem very strong and the plasticy-foil on the inside looks like it might not be very durable long-term. For the latter, I have been putting a reusable fabric grocery bag inside it to hold the groceries to soften any pointy edges on them.I'm glad I bought it. The color scheme is a little funky but I'm a little funky. Don't care!

I got this bag a few days ago. It arrived in excellent condition.It seems the quality is better than grocery store insulated bags. Bear in mind that the insulation is nowhere near as thick as a good quality soft pack cooler and much less than a high end cooler or ice chest. My guess is that the bag's insulation is on the order of 1/8 to 1/4 inch vs. 1 1/2 to 2 inches in a good soft pack cooled, even more and better insulation in high end hard coolers. I do not have access to high end insulated totes so I cannot compare. Or even consider whether the high end versions are worth 10x the price.I cannot comment yet in whether it will be easy to clean. Most likely it will be except for foods that really stain. The antimicrobial feature seems common in better bags but I don't plan on leaving drippings or crumbs to test that claim.This bag is quite large. However, for any insulated bag to work, the ice pack to food & drink ratio needs to be 2 to 1. Bear in mind, some ice packs are better than others. Another area to explore.Based on my experience with "dry sacks" and "water proof" cases I wouldn't put the "leak proof" feature of this bag to the test. Instead do not dump in loose ice but keep the ice in sturdy bags and expect some leakage once the ice starts melting.Since the insulation is not very thick don't expect it to keep your food very cold for very long without extra precautions. To help besides using extra large ice packs I use and recommend using Large Thermal Bubble Mailers for some extra insulation. There are undoubtedly more effective and creative alternatives.I've read too many reviews where people's expectations are totally unrealistic. But if you think things through if you prepare this bag will get you through a few hours more or less.I would not expect the bag to keep things piping hot. Nor would I want too. Liquids belong in vacuum insulated food containers, solid food will need reheating by microwave, oven, pot or pan. At most the bag will keep the food a little warm a little longer.

Great everyday shopping bag, well constructed.

Impressed with quality and size of these bags. Use them mostly for transporting groceries home.

I love this insulated tote bag. It is always with me grocery shopping. I had same bag for 10 years but broke zipper recently. Happy, same bag still available. RachaelRay Pack&GO insulated tote. I chose color green and the jumbo size. It holds a lot the cold items I purchase & seems to hold the cold quite long. Although, I always go right home so cannot vouch for total time. I think anybody needing this bag would be veryhappy with it. Buy it!!!

I purchase one of these Rachael Ray cooler bags and was blown away great quality I live in Arizona. You better have everything in a cooler bag if you've got to drive more than 10 minutes. I now have three of these bags. I love the fact that I folded up with hook and loop fasteners. It is good quality and it does keep things cold. The price was well worth the product at 15 bucks

Keeps cold things cold, and hot things hot….so I put a bag of ice in it with a hot coffee.

It does exactly what I had hope it did. Holds a lot of grocery and protects them from the temperature variations. Feels very sturdy and well made.
