It is not flimsy - it is constructed well and of quality material. The aluminum frame keeps the shape, the plastic lip fits tightly to the frame and keeps the net in place, and the front edge is just right for getting debris from the bottom of the pool. It is sized correctly to fit both of my poles. I have had many of this type of skimmer over the years - this is among the best. And at a very good price.

I usually don't leave reviews, but this one deserves it. Maybe it's because the one it's replacing is ooooold, but I have to say that this was an amazing experience all the way from opening the package, hooking it up to my pole and skimming away! It felt lighter, was a LOT smoother, and I don't know how they do it (and maybe it's the high contrast of the yellow vs the floor of the pool, but I could actually see the leaves being lifted up for it to catch with VERY little push on my part. Super smooth, super effective, super light. Love it!

Had bought the same one but with the rubber on the front edge last year. In a pool with a liner it is. tough to slide along the bottom. This one however, is very good and highly recommended for pools with liners.

Très bon filet a feuilles. Rend facile de ramaser les débris au fond de la piscine grâche à sa bavette. Ma blonde l'a tellement aimé qu'elle m'en a fait acheter un autre pour la voisine, parce qu'elle va l'aider souvent a nettoyer sa piscine, et celui que la voisine avait n'était pas yâble !

Excellent quality pool skimmer! And I do mean excellent quality. The double net design works incredibly well for both large debris and the tiny nuisance stuff that always seems to escape other skimmers. I also really appreciate the scoop edge along the bottom because it makes it much easier to grab leaves, dirt, and random debris sitting on the pool floor without fighting with it. The net itself has a large capacity and feels sturdy, not flimsy like so many others I’ve tried. Living in Arizona, I can also say the durability has seriously impressed me. The desert sun and extreme heat destroy most plastic outdoor products pretty quickly, so my expectations are usually pretty low when it comes to longevity. This is actually my SECOND time purchasing this skimmer… and only because the first one lasted about five years out in the brutal Arizona elements. That’s honestly far beyond what I’ve come to expect. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
