Philips E Line 241E1SC00 LED display 59.9 cm (23.6) 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD Black

I work from my home office as a software engineer, so I'm in front of my screens practically all day. I replaced my 24" HP flat screens with this bad boy. This being my first curved screen, I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't like the curved effect (it seemed a bit gimmicky to me), however, I couldn't be happier. The brightness and clarity of these screens are also superior to my previous screen. I fiddled with brightness, sharpness, contrast but, in the end, I didn't have to tweak them all that much.

Bought this for my new 'budget peripheral PC setup', and I am very pleased with this purchase.The 24 inch curved screen fills my desk completely and allows me to immerse myself into the games I play. It is 1080p HD, however it's quality is incredible, and the narrow frame makes the display feel even larger. The screen itself is able to pivot to adjust to use heights which is a nice addition, and the stand isn't that large either. My only complaint about this monitor is that the screen is quite thick, however this isn't really a huge bother to me.Out of the box, the monitor comes disassembled from the stand, however does not require any tools to assemble. Its really that simple. It's very well packaged and protected, however was a bit tight inside the polystyrene casing, so a bit of persuasion was required, so of course, if it feels like it doesn't want to come out on its own, be careful.The monitor comes with everything needed for it to display video, that being a HDMI cable, and mains power cable, which are of sufficient length.Overall, I love this monitor. It is very sturdy, has a great build quality m, is very large, gaming-worthy and very simple to set up. I would recommend this monitor a lot.

It's monitor, it works, the picture is good and adjustable....Reading reviewers who said you can't that the stand off ...they can't have read the instructions it took me all of about 60 seconds ....The only cc aution I would have is the back is very curved sonic your mounting it on a vesa plate the.plate.needs some "give" in it to mold to the backExcelent

For some reason, Philips have attached the leg of the stand to the monitor in some arcane manner which makes its removal incomprehensible, despite providing screwholes so that it can be mounted on a bracket. At least I couldn't find a way of removing it which didn't involve a hacksaw (which obviously voids the warranty).

Needed a cheap and cheerful monitor for a short period of time and at the special offer price it turned out to be "okay value for money" - cheap but not cheerful. The picture quality using the supplied HDMI cable was a bit disappointing.
