As an expert in copper I was interested to see if these would work as they contain copper rods which should be able to kill all bacteria, viral and fungal cells . The solar panel powers the copper rods. My pool is in a tropical country to algae growth is fast and relentless. These have worked brilliantly and last about 2 years maximum before the plastic parts start to wear down. Comes with handy stiff wire brush to keep the copper clean. Easy 2 minute job to set up and it’s working as soon as it’s charged up by the sun. During monsoon time and gloomy days we have to use the usual pool chemicals though . Great value for money as it saves on chemicals crystal clear water

This is exactly what I wanted. It's brilliantly built and sturdy. I can't wait to see how much less chemicals I need in my pool this year.
