Auto-dimming Car Interior Rear View Mirror

I am very happy with my new mirror. It's was very easy to instal and works very good.

little bit delay in dimming

Very impressed with this mirror. Quality is better than expected; only problem was with installation: you have to order the windshield bracket adapter for Ram pickups and find a +12volt connection point. Once these were accomplished, everything is great. I had purchased one more expensive that was a pain all around. (I gave it away.) My truck was to come from the factory with an auto dimming mirror, but I am sure the dealer removed it and installed in another truck. ( They wouldn't do that would they???)

Installation was simple, just a hot and a ground. Attaches easily and cleanly to the mirror mount already in your car. No fit issues and it includes a wire cover that extends to meet your headliner. The mirror appears to be fairly well built, but there are some drawbacks. The LED on the front is too bright. Distractingly so at night. I covered it up. Having had mirrors such as this in the past, I'm disappointed with two things. This mirror seems to require a lot of light before it activates. More so than I find comfortable. It also tends to activate slowly at first. All in all, I wouldn't purchase it again. It does work, just not as well as I had hoped it would.

Product is not good

At first I didn't notice any difference between night and day.I thought " This thing doesn't work at all."Then, I had an Idea...I then put black tape over the back light sensor and it worked great. "I just turn it off during the day.""I hope this works for you too."

Performs as advertised. Not too hard to install. The wife is happy so I'm happy.

All the pain during the long night commute was made easy having it installed. No more high beam tension hoho
