Chef Knife, 8 Inch Professional Chefs Knife Sharp Kitchen Knife, German High Carbon Stainless Steel Japanese Knife with Ergonomic Handle and Gift Box

I am a line cook at a Country Club on dinner shift, I use the chef knife everyday for prep and during dinner service. I love this knife. I started off on a western knife and wanted to experiment on a Japanese style knife before purchasing a myabi chef knife. I will never go back and have fallen in love with this style of knife. Its been over a month and I still have not had to sharpen the blade. Its honed everyday before use and shows no sign of rust. It feels great in the hand and is actually extremely well balanced. Overall I was really surprised and impressed by this knife given how cheap it’s listed. Definitely recommend if you are wanting a knife for prep work that doesn’t break the bank.

These knives are replacing some ceramic knives we bought about 2 years ago that are now basically reduced to dangerous chipped and cracked husks of their former selves - in that light these new knives are a dream. Not to say they aren't nice from any perspective, I think they are! We haven't had new metal knives in years at this point and I can't believe I've forgotten what it's like to not have to muscle through every cut, slice, and chop. The weight of these is very nice, with a great balance, and just touching the blade to the tomato (in the picture) I swear it wanted to fall through it. It's a good reminder that a sharp knife is actually a safer knife. The packaging is nice, with a magnetic flap close on the front of the carton. The sleeves are nice and should hold up much better than the paper/cardboard sleeves that come with some other brands and should serve to protect both fingers and the blades while these are stored in a kitchen drawer. These were priced very affordably and the quality of knife so far is outstanding. I was a bit nervous about spending less on a knife set, but these have performed admirably to this point (about 4 days of good use, so far). I'll try to update in a few months if anything changes - and, pending any updates, I can easily recommend this set.

Beautiful quality you will need to have them sharpened

These knives are much higher quality than I was expecting based on the price point. The blades are thick enough to hold an edge for more than a few uses, and heavy enough to make chopping easy. They also come with an extremely sharp edge from the factory. These feel great in the hand, I usually prep salad veggies for a whole week so Sunday involves much chopping, and I had no issues with hand fatigue. Highly recommended, I’m considering getting a set for my mom as well.

I think is the best knife i ever have. I know they aren’t the most expensive but for the price the are Really Gorgeous Knifes. I really wanted to try a better knife in the Kitchen. I have Carpal Tunel and some time is really hard for me to cook. In the cutting process is hard and take me long. I tried the knife cutting Potatoes like butter. Almost no pressure hahaha.

This is the best knife set I have ever bought! All three of them are pretty, easy to use and affordable! I have bought another one for my moms 😂

Bought this set of knives to give away as gifts. Very strong material and great feel. Very sharp knives Very sharp. Very affordable and will do the job. Only issue is at the end of the handle where the metal tip is that looks cool. Is not total smooth and u feel a bit of edge of the metal like a scratch u every time. That aside like the knives and the protector each one comes with.
