I wasn't expecting something grand; but this is dollar store quality. It's light weight and easily tips over. From a distance probably not too bad but I wanted to sit on a desk where my customers sit and once I opened the container I knew that wasn't going to happen.

I actually LOVE the face that this thing is mad out of wood but is still quite solid. I'm using it with a series of other similar faux rusty gears to form a clock for a chique-industrial theme in our living room and even up close it looks quite real. They did a really good job with the paint job on this piece. Also, because it is made of wood, it's going to be easier to use in our giant clock craft project and MUCH easier to hang due to its' lighter weight. Highly recommended...

Product just as described in Amazon ad; order arrived well before promised and in good condition. Painted finish nicely suggests well-worn metal part, attractive even when viewed up close, as will be the case in my home, where this gear and others will be mounted on a hallway wall. Good job of wood cutting, as edges are clean, no splinters or gouges. Price is acceptable. Recommend.

If I could give 6 stars I would... exceptional workmanship and first class packaging. Very high quality. I bought two out five gears for my wall display from this vendor. The other three will take two weeks to arrive from who knows where... Wish I had bought all five from this vendor! Once in awhile, you get a product that exceeds your expectations. This purchase did that!

This piece is great to sit on the bookshelf, but be careful to not let it move around a lot because the pieces will separate.

I used these as decorations in my new office that has the industrial look. Worked perfectly! Looks real!
