Warranty does not cover parts
My Juki had a problem with the bobbin case, it is still under warranty. Amazon customer service say they will refund the machine but have no replacement. I am in the middle of making a quilt so need a new bobbin case, Amazon sell the part I need but will not let me have one unless I buy it for £50.00. So what is the point of a warranty if it does not cover parts. I contacted Juki and they say the warranty is issued by the seller. So I have to save up now to get the part I need. This is so unfair.

This is a 120 volt machine and the guaratee is not covered in the UK
Firstly Amazon Customer service were outstanding in dealing with my issues and I was able to return the machine and get my refund with little problem. Thanks for that.Secondly this machine is several hundred pounds cheaper bought from Amazon than any other vendor in the UK however there are issues as stated in the headline. It is a 120 volt machine and you will need to buy a 240/120 volt stepdown transformer before you use it. Not a problem as long as you are aware of it and there are plenty of suitable tarnsformers available from Amazon.Thirdly, the guarantee will not be honoured by Juki UK as the machine is bought from the U.S. and Juki U.S. wont honour the guarantee either because the machine was in the U.K.My wife is a expert seamstress and has been sewing for many years and this was to be the machine of her dreams. Sadly it had intermittant problems, probably not too serious but as there was no guarantee she would not let me "take a look at it". The problem, incidently was what she called "looping" which meant the sewing on the underside of the material was not complete and stitches were dropped. She tried everything to rectify it but to no avail. We decided to return the machine as no one would "take a look" either and as I said before Amazon Customer Service were excellent in helping us to do this and my refund was honoured completely too. Finally, when the machine was not misbehaving my wife was extremely happy with the quality and features of the machine. The best she has ever used.
