This is sturdy and comfortable product made by Belkin. My daughter has had one of these for years and it still looks great. It is big enough for my laptop but also such a light and comfortable cushion that I use it for writing in my journal and reading as it's nice to rest a book on instead of having to hold it. I had bought another brand but returned as the cushions were not comfortable on my legs.

I bought this for my mom since I have been using mine for many years (8-10?). Very firm cushion, topped with a durable hard plastic that won't flex or break. There's a rubberized narrow bumper to keep the laptop from sliding. Perfectly angled. The quality is phenomenal. The size is perfect for a 17" laptop. The problem will be finding one since they aren't made any more. The one I got mom was shipped from Italy.

Assuming you can still purchase one of these, it is excellent as a barrier between your lap and the laptop. So many manufacturers try and fail to make a comfortable surface for the legs for these laptop lap desks and fail. More often than not, they are hot and make you feel like you're wearing sweatpants. The breathable mesh fabric on these are great. This model is flatter and bigger than the original Belkin Cushdesk, which was amazing and yet to be surpassed, but it is still a good find if you can get one.

So many lapdesks come with varying ports and lamps and all kinds of bells and whistles that I didn't ask for. This is exactly what I wanted, it's big enough for my laptop and for my sentro 48-pin knitting machine, and I'm honestly contemplating ordering a backup. If all you want is a cool, flat surface, this is absolutely what you need.

For some reason it's almost impossible to find a firmly padded, hard-top lap desk. This one is great. Bought two. Warning: these cannot be found in the USA so come from the UK - meaning a month or more.

I have been using this for 10 years and it is going strong. It got me through college, my doctorate program and now work. Could not recommend this product enough!

This lap desk gets the job done but its surface is a pretty slick. My Macbook slides off of it pretty easily. Also, the little rubber lip that is supposed to keep the laptop from sliding forward isn't very tall so on laptops with a beveled edge (like mine) it doesn't really get the job done. It's minimal and nice, but the design could be improved.

J'utilie souvent le support, il ne s'abime pas. Les coutures sont de bonne qualité. Le support ne glisse pas.

Temevo di riscontrare qualcuno dei difetti rilevati da altri clienti, quali la scivolosità o la famigerata bombatura del piano d'appoggio. Invece la superficie non solo è perfettamente piana, ma non è neppure scivolosa, ed il pc resta totalmente aderente, anche inclinando molto il supporto. Suggerisco a chi riscontra il problema della scivolosità di pulire con un panno in microfibra inumidito i piedini del notebook: con l'uso tendono a impolverarsi, e conseguentemente a scivolare. La pulitura rinnova l'effetto antiscivolo della gomma.Tornando al supporto, ha le dimensioni giuste (io lo uso con un 15,6"), è leggero sulle gambe e non scalda, facile e comodo da trasportare, senza il rischio di far cadere il pc. Inoltre ha una piacevole estetica, con un'elegante accoppiamento di colori (grigio/nero). Un ottimo acquisto, lo consiglio assolutamente.
