Clean White Light - Clean Looks
If you want a flush fitting light that looks clean and modern then these lights look the part. Not only do you almost forget they are there when fitted, they really do chuck out some light as well. They are in the cool white or blue spectrum which gives a clean and bright colour tone to everything. We use this Kelvin level in machinery spaces in ships to help this effect as well. Warm white makes things look cosy in a house but makes workshops and enginerooms look dirty. Harder to see as well. The shape is where you might have to think a bit. Being square means you really have to try hard to ensure that they are fitted at 90 degrees to a wall or they will look odd.Apart from that, nothing to complain about. They look good, I like the light tone and they are well made for the money.

Fine for the Cellar
We installed these into the cellar as we were renovating so unsure on how easy to install in a ceiling already in situ. The reason for 4 stars was the light is good but is made on the cheaper side, i probably wouldn't purchase these over other products due to the aesthetics but fins for a she or cellar.

Bright lights with diffuse spread
These are three quite large lights that when I took them out of the box I was worried that they looked a little plasticky. They fit fairly easily- you cut a square hole in the ceiling. Attach the live and neutral wires (has a pinch connector where you just press a button to grab the wire) and then use the two levers on either side to hold the light onto the ceiling. That said I struggled to get the hole in the ceiling deep enough and had to chisel a fair bit of the joist out. The wire connection is to the side of the light (hidden beneath the wide lip). For me it would have been easier if the wire connected at the top as that is where by wire source came from. It meant instead I had to chisel a further grove to feed the wire round to the side, with an additional chunk out of the plasterboard at the side. When finished however it looks great- it’s a bright light but the frosted cover means its diffuse with a wide angle, rather than being uncomfortable to look at. Using in a bathroom and whilst we have all 3 lights in the one room it actually looked very well lit with just the one light.

Very Low Profile With a Very Bright Cool White Light
I originally ordered these to use in my kitchen ceiling but when I started checking the installation they didn't really look right with the other round ones that I will be using so I will be fitting these into my downstairs cloakroom instead. On opening, this set of three square lights look nicely made and have straight clean edges with no burrs or poorly fitted parts.I haven't had the time yet to install these into my cloakroom but I plugged one in just as a test. The output from these lights is very bright and completely covers the square diffuser section in the frame. The colour tone is a very cool white light which really does cover an area completely so not many of these would be required even in a large room.Fitting these after the awkward part of having to cut a square hole is fairly simple as they mount using two spring clips similar to a normal GU10 type of spot light fitting and hold very securely as the springs have a good tight grip. When I took these out of the box, I did manage to push one of the diffuser covers into the fitting with my thumb, so you do need to handle these carefully to avoid a time consuming process of having to straighten the lens back up again. Luckily I managed this using a double sided sticky pad on a short stick which pulled the lens back into the frame tightly. That is the only reason for my deducting a star from this review. The wiring of these is done directly from the switch out section of the wiring, so the wires running to the light thats already fitted can be split into three and then run to these three lights, all of which will then turn on together. On the back of each of these lights is a terminal block to connect the wires to, they are marked so it is an easy job to do.Fitting square lights is harder than round ones but in the right setting they can look so much better and these fittings do look lovely. The profile is much less than any other inset lights that I have seen, so you only need a small ceiling recess to be able to use these.

Great set of lights fot smaller rooms.
This set of lights come in a minimally branded cardboard box, inside which the 3 lights are tightly packaged in their own poly sleeve so should arrive safely. You also get a leaflet with instructions and measurements for hole creation. The lights are solidly made and in such a way as to provide a good 120 degrees of light once installed. The most difficult part is getting the hole cut to size as square holes are inevitably harder than circular since it's all pure hand saw work. But it's worth the effort for the amount of light you get is great.Solid set of lights at a reasonable price.

very thin, easy to install, warm and soft light
I bought the lights with the initial attempt to use them in my kitchen, however decided to use them in the living room and bedroom mostly because of the warm light they produce. It is very calming and soft so it's perfect for movie nights or just chilling on the sofa. They were also quick and easy to install and turn on, had no hassle at all. I enjoy their modern and minimalist look as well, suited very well to my interior and will most probably suit anyone's. They also provide more than enough light.Would recommend, brought warmth and coziness to my living room and bedroom.
