I really like this so far. I got this 2 weeks ago and love it work with 2 D cell batteries. The lights are bright and cover a good size area. It was easy to mount and sensitive enough to turn on even by my little dog. It stopped the deer from eating the flowers in my garden, which is why I got it. It stays lit for good amount of time. It is motion detected. It looks great and works well. I plan to get another one soon. Very good quality for good price i highly recommend.

Great lights for backyard or driveway area. I have purchased these twice, the only reason I needed a second set was because I moved. Batteries last longer than expected with the motion sense and light sense on these. Mounting is easy once you decide where to put them. They provide plenty of light for walkways and security around the property.

We purchase several times of lights (all battery operated) to put in our long driveway to cover different spots needing different areas of coverage. As battery operated lights go and considering the price, this was my favorite of the battery operated ones. We like our Solar ones best and they cost much less, but those can't go in our driveway because it has a long 50' cover over it. These lights were easy to install, and work like a champ. What we really like about this particular model is 1) the area of coverage AND 2) the fact that you can easily move each side of the light independently of the other to shine the side lights in different directions and angles. The sensor is stationary in the middle. You just need to figure out for your own situation just how wide an angle of motion it will detect. For us, we installed it about 10' high and about 12-15' in from the street side of the driveway so it wouldn't go off with passing cars. The lower the height -- the lower the angle of motion detection. The lights are BRIGHT but not as bright or blinding as the floodlights on our back door, and for us, that's a good thing because of how we use them. We have them pointed such that they light up the entire area around my husbands car so when he gets home at night, the lights go off when he first pulls in the drive and before he gets out of the car. In our drive, that's important as we've had some crime here in driveways without proper lighting with thieves laying in wait by bushes along driveways. Their brightness is just right and he can clearly see all around the car and along the driveway when he gets out. We installed these quite a while ago and the batteries still work fine (6 mos or so). They only go off when there is motion and at the height we have them, we haven't had a problem with them going off from animals at night. We would buy these again.

Easy to install. Battery operated, so you don't have to worry about keeping solar panels clear of snow and ice or getting enough daylight to charge. Bright light that stays on about 30 seconds. Liked the one I put in my back entryway so much I bought another one to put in my indoor hall. It will defintiley save wear and tear on my hall light swtich!

Compact and packaged well. Set it up in no time and the product worked with no issues. The lights are bright and I like how the lights can be moved to light up certain locations.

A simple solution to add lighting where there’s no existing wiring. You can attach these practically anywhere and have them operating in minutes. We’ve been using this Mr. Beams model (as well as other models) for many years and it’s the only brand we use now. We have not had a single failure or issue such as corroded batteries, and we recently purchased additional ones for a new outbuilding. It’s designed to last years, unlike many products nowadays with the market flooded with low quality Chinese imitations/look-a-likes priced a few dollars less, but in the end don’t last or perform as promised. This particular model has many uses indoors and out. Being battery-operated, it’s not designed to provide flood-like illumination, but does provide sufficient lighting for most needs. The lights are designed to stay on for 20 seconds after it detects movement, and will stay on longer if it continues to detect movement. Vehicles and Animals will also trigger the lights. It's not highly sensitive to things like moving tree branches, unless they are too close. I would estimate the color/temperature of the LED lights to be around 4,000 Kelvin--not yellow but not bluish or “daylight” either. It comes ready to use out of the box; just add batteries. Other than that, there are no replaceable parts or adjustments other than the 2 articulating lights. It's designed for mounting on a vertical surface, and for outdoor use preferably under an eave, though it’s not necessary. It comes w/3 GP screws to attach the mounting plate. I use sheet metal screws or wood screws depending on where they're mounted. The light unit simply slides on and off the plate. The motion sensor is way too sensitive where high winds or a good rain fall triggers the sensor into thinking somebody is there and turning on. I have to now change the place for this product, which is not optimal. The best part of this product is the easy install, and it works.
