Awesome toy, I bought a couple of these for my little boy who was then 20 months old, thinking they might keep him (or me) entertained for a few minutes on a long haul flight that I was dreading - they have been so much more than I had hoped for, he very quickly caught on how to hold the pen and "colour" the pages, since it is chunky and easy to grip, and dispenses water very readily (yet without spilling). These not only brought on his motor skills, but kept him quiet during a long delay at the stopover airport and are great for playing "can you see the dog/butterfly/bird" etc as there are many hidden items (he could just about point but was no way ready for I spy or talking!) - he still loves them now, though he has rather chewed the pen to death. The colours are nice and bright, they dry quickly and are still going strong, great for the price.

Purchased this for my toddler as we were due to fly on holiday. Enis was a go to for him on the plane and during the holiday. I would highly recommend this activity ass it is mess free and perfect for going on a journey. The top layer can easily be scratched off which is the only downside hence the 4 star rating

Great for entertaining a toddler on a flight and on holiday. Decent size, cute pictures. Fairly durable pages, and it’s good it’s a brush head rather than a nib (had a nib style one before that just ripped the surface of the page). Love that you can use these over and over, and that there is no mess - just a few drops of water. Love it

Bought for my 2 year old who loves Blue, Magenta as well as numbers and letters. Great for his age and stage, something that engages him in colouring, a little creativity and finding different things on the pages. Dries on its own quick enough but not too quick that it's dry before they finish page Water flows from 'pens' easy enough without leaving puddles too Vibrant colours unlike some similar items I've bought before, was wary of this being same but works really well so would definitely recommend

I thought this was great for the first couple of weeks, bearing in mind my daughter used it and absolutely loved it for 2 days per week. We refill the pen, even shake it and very little water comes out. We now have a pot with water and she dips the brush. So no longer any us to keep in her bag or for travel. Very disappointed

My kids (2 and 3) love these books and I love that this one has them practicing their letters. The pen doesn’t leak and holds the water well but I find it helpful to run the paintbrush part under some water so it’s already presoaked. The pages will scratch if you use the paintbrush a bit too aggressively (or when you run other toys or nails over it)… so just don’t do that. If you trust your kids enough you could refill the paintbrush and use it in the car if you are looking for car activities.
