I sized up due to the reviews but this wasn't neccesary so had to return one pair. I am 6ft and 16 stone (just over 100kg) 38" waist, 46" chest and XL fits. In response to 'they show everything ' they are a lycra style garment so will be figure hugging but as a road cyclist this is not unexpected. There is a thin liner in the crotch and they don't go transparent in water. There is room for your man bits and butt (stocky build) The waistband is good so the waist string is probably unnecesary. Probably not beach shorts but reduces drag for swimming. I wild swim so unsure how it would cope with pool chemicals. The legs are tight but not bad so unless you have extremely wide thighs should be okay. The rise is normal height so you don't have to worry about your pubes showing like some jammers 😮
