Nice trimmer for edge banding
Have used this trimmer about 10 times and it does a good job of trimming away excess edge banding. Used it on quite a few shelves for some cabinets and they all turned out nice. Light pressure is all you need, a lesson I learned from squeezing too hard and not getting the results I wanted. In my opinion the trimmers price, performance and ease of use make it a must buy for your edge banding needs.

Great for long straights
I made a shelf out of cabinet grade ply and put edge banding to hide the plies. This tool worked... mostly. On long straight sections this is much easier than using a razor however, because the cutter is in the middle, if you come to a joint (ex. 90 degree) you can't go all the way up to the corner because the blade sits an inch or so back from the end of the tool. You can finish that last bit with a razor but in my case, the shelves weren't that far apart so it was easier just to do it all by hand. This also doesn't work well on round parts, obviously the tool is flat but I figured with the blade in the middle it would work but, it can cause tear-out because the blade somewhat pulls on the edge banding as it's rounding a corner. All in all, if you're just doing straight boards then this tool works great, do watch your hands because the trimmed veneer will hurt as it comes out of the tool. In hindsight maybe it would be better to try and edge band before putting the project together but that seems like more work than just trimming edge banding by hand. I probably won't be using this tool much.

Works Pretty Good, Breaks Easy
Definitely quicker then a razor knife. It Works quickly. It doesn't hold up very well and was broke after a few uses. It will still work, but I have to hold the 2 sides together with a firm grip. Should be better quality for the price.

This tool worked great to shave excess wood from an antique table. Watch a video to see how to use it.

Edge Trimmer
My dislike was that the product had no instructions for use. It is mage to fit the hand comfortably and ease of use was good.
