Buy Bad Girl Bakery: The Cookbook by Jeni Iannetta (ISBN: 9781916316553) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Love. Love. Love. - Love the recipes, love the style, love Bad Girl Bakery! Recipes: Clear, lots of hits and tips and what I’ve tried so far, very, very delicious! First Class Muffins; great on the Caledonian Sleeper, fantastic from your own oven; Parsnip, Apple& Hazelnut Cake; why did I never think to add parsnip to a cake before??!! I may have eaten this all by myself and denied all knowledge of making it. Really impressed with the vegan recipes/options as well. I have a schedule of recipes to try & probably a new exercise plan 😂. Also, all of the buttercream is to die for 😍. Style: I know that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but this is pretty to look at & pretty to use. Layout is clear, user friendly & visually really appealing. The mix of photos of the end result & ‘action shots’ works really well. The writing style is warm & approachable, and I really appreciate the acknowledgement of team effort throughout. I also like the feel of a book to be right and this is. The pages are as silky & indulgent feeling as the cakes, bakes & treats. Bad Girl Bakery: Good food, good folk, good book. The only issue I have is that there is a chapter on Leftover Cake, and I don’t know what that is 🤔😂. Review: gret pictures. has recipes. You may need to buy an oven and scales - Loved this book. The bakery itself is close to where I live. Sadly I cannot afford to eat there too often - 2 coffee and 2 cakes = 1 book. However I like looking at the pictures as much as anything. I also don't really like icing on cupcakes (why so much?). But nice pretty pictures.

I bought this after visiting the amazing Muir of Ord Bad Girl bakery/cafe. This is a great bakery book with some really nice and different bakes. There is also some great explanation of technics and tips I haven’t seen before. Would definitely recommend

Fab - u - lous!
I am a great fan of the ‘Bad Girl Bakery’ and am delighted to now have access to so many of Jeni’s amazing recipes in this beautiful recipe book. I first discovered BGB several years ago, when I bought one of their incredible gin and tonic cupcakes at a craft fair. Since then I have been a regular customer and sampled many of their sweet and savoury goodies. Jeni and her lovely staff are always so friendly and helpful and this recipe book very much reflects this approach. It is clear from the way that it is written that Jeni wants to share her recipes with you in a way that is so accessible, with lots of helpful tips I have already tried some of these fab recipes and it won’t be long before I try many more. Thanks!

Every time I visit Scotland, I visit Bad Girls Bakery. The best food. The best cupcakes. Just simply the BEST. Now I can try their recipes at home.

I have ALOT of baking cookbooks and this one is one of my favorite. The chocolate chip cookie recipe is one of the best I have ever had and made. It's sooooo delicious. The cookbook contains an interesting collections of recipes that I can not wait to try. All the recipes look great.

I didn't care for this book at all. There might be three recipes I'd try. It's certainly not worth the price.

Great book- definitely geared towards the UK- the gluten free recipes use the flour available there, but inspired by some of their ideas Ok note- if baking in North America you have to play with the weight of egg to dry ingredients a little as the flour and egg weights are slightly different. I usually add half a large egg (25g) and decrease the flour weight by 10%... it takes a little trial and error I use the book mainly as a jumping off point

I would rate the quality of this book, the writing and it’s photos a 10 if I could. The reason for a 3 star is the complexity and difficulty level required as well as the equipment needed. For those of us who are just regular home bakers - beware.I would love to visit the shop and enjoy these delicacies that the experts baked but do not recommend trying them at home.
