So I don't play as much golf as I used to, but what I use it for is at crash scene to do quick measurements. Having the talking feature is a wonderful thing to have so the BWC records it. I understand this is not the intention for this product, but it works and it does the job.

Excellent range finder for the price. It is pretty accurate to my iPhone golf app. Distance with height correction and distance is spot on.

This is the first time I have ever used one that locks onto the pin. My old one was not actually made for golf but for hunting so it did not have the fancy golf features like this one. I have seen them before at stores but this one was just cheaper than the ones I’ve seen in stores and it looks the best to me. I got the chance to take it out to a course a little bit ago when it was warm out and I was able to lock onto the pins with no problem at all and it even tells the slope. The best thing is that it tells you how far to hit it to account for the ball rolling on the green so I am excited to see if my game improves this coming season.

UPDATE:Had 1 round with it that went super then second round screen started turning off and stopped working after about a second after pushing the button. Poor quality, good idea but does not work.Really happy with this unit, in the past I would sometime have to look into the viewfinder to look at yardage again that was if it had not been wiped out. If not take a second reading. This is very accurate and displayes the yardage right on the side. The voice feature is good but I wish I could turn down the volume. I ended up turning voice yardage off but am much happier with this unit then I was with my previous one. Reads accurate yardage and slop as well.

I tested it at the range and it measured it exactly like the yard markers. Has volume and LED display. Can turn slope mode off to make it legal for tournament play. Only $100, can’t beat it! Many functions so it may take awhile to get used to all of it.

The manual that came with my rangefinder has images that my device can't do. Worse still, the images on the Amazon site don't match the device or the documentation. The device is made in China. It references a website that forwards to a clothing site in Australia.I set the units to feet, took out a long tape measure, and tried it. The distances are very close. +/- 0.1 FeetThe angular readout seems about right. The altitude measurement is relative to your eye. On level ground, a reading of (say) 10, plus the height of your eye (5.5 for me) is the actual height-- 15.5In close, you can focus for the target or the crosshair, but not both.As you get further away, you can get both.As seen through glasses with progressive lenses, about all you can see are the crosshairs.The LCD screen on the side of the unit made the sale for me.My application is tree work.Getting the height of a tree or a problem branch is easy.

My old rangefinder gave up on me.A golf buddy recommended this one to me.I’ve used it about 7 times on the course and find it very accurate. Definitely helps me pick the right club for the shot. Did not reduce my swings haha.The voice read out is pretty cool. Touch screen color display easy to use.A lot of functionality for the money.
