Great job

First the good points:-This is a well made kit, very similar to Lego. It goes together very well and, unlike Lego seems to stay together better when built.All the tiny pieces are present in the kit, non missing, which is a miracle considering the number of pieces that make up the kit.The instructions provided cover every part of the build pictorially but with some reservations as follows.The Not-so-Good points:-The instructions are about 90% as good as Lego, they lack clarity in some parts. It is sometimes difficult to see which way round some of the small parts fit together and this is compounded by the pictures switching orientation without it being obvious.The parts are very small and there are a lot of them.Some parts are not easily recognisable from the very small picture of them in the pre-build parts list groupings. Others are easy to mix up, for example the black pegs, one has a push fit at each end, another has a push fit at one end and a crossed shaft at the other.The size of the finished model is disappointing. It measures 23cm long (including the tender) x 75mm High,not quite that portrayed by the publicity pictures.Now for the biggest disappointment, this was bought for a 7 year old to build, the age stated was 6+ so you would think it would be quite suitable, BUT, because of all the previously stated Not-so-Good points, it was far from suitable. I cannot believe a 6 year old would have any chance of building this to completion.I would suggest it is more suitable for a 12+ year old, even then they would need to be well skilled with Lego to have any chance.My 7 year old grandson soon lost interest in the fiddly pieces and trying to understand the instructions, so I got the job of building it for him.I am in my 70's, an engineer, able to read drawings and construct most things, but even I had one or two head scratching moments trying to understand what the pictures were trying to tell me.In conclusion, I wouldn't consider this kit for anyone younger than say 12 to 14 years old. The quality is there but it is complicated.

The media could not be loaded.  Great set of building blocks to build 3 different vehicles out of them, a train, motorbike & tractor. I bought it as a gift for a little friend who loves using these kind of sets to build items. This isnt the brand name he usually has but he wont mind when he sees what it can make. It is very similar sorts of bricks that fit together to make the vehicles shown in the enclosed booklet if u follow the instructions carefully. It gives step by step pictures and directions on how to piece together and there are stickers included to stick on some of the bricks to create more detailed lines on them to fit in with the overall design. There are wheel shapes that fit on and will turn so the finished vehicles move as pictured in the booklet and they look very smart. There are 2 packets labelled 1 & 2 but all the bricks need to be mixed so u can create the 3 vehicles but it looks like not all at the same time. U make one then dismantle and use the bricks to build the next one. They will be very much enjoyed and they were much better value than the brand name sets would be to buy.

On a par with lego

My husband and sons loved putting this together. The quality and detail are superb. Everything fits together really well and the instructions are really good too. It looks and feels just like Lego but so much cheaper to buy. We love that you can make 3 different models from the set (not all at once). My husband was so impressed he bought another, even bigger, set from the same company.

This was a Christmas present for my nephew's little boy. He could not wait to show me the train he had put together. He was really happy with the gift. He loves making things so couldn't have chosen a better gift.

Set aside about 2 hours to build it, haha! Fantastic little project, really enjoyed putting it together - however it's a little bit fiddly in places so you need the patience of a saint!
