Moisture Meter Detector – Damp Meter for Wood, Masonry and Other Building Materials

This is great for checking the moisture levels in your walls, it's easy to use, very well made, although the cap that protects the prongs is hard to get off, it does a great job.

For a quick simple check for damp in Caravan/Motorhome this does the job well

Unquestionably the best moisture meter I have purchased in over 65 years when I first started DIY projects. Easy to use, multiple test programmes & unquestionably accurate. Removing the protective cover requires something of a knack but I soon worked this out & thereby no problem. Time will tell if it's durable & remains accurate but in the meantime I'm impressed. Recommended.

Needed this for some damp issues I've found in my house. Takes a little effort to get the cap off but happy with the meter and found it's readings accurate. The instructions were clear and the device was easy to use.

Works well but opt for the one without prongs.

Molto ben funzionante e ben costruito. Lo sto usando molto questo inverno per scegliere quale legna bruciare prima e quale lasciare asciugare ancora un po' e ho potuto effettivamente appurare che è molto preciso. Ho avuto modo di provarlo anche sui muri e fuzniona correttamente. Lo consiglio.

Al probarlo por las esquinas me di cuenta de que el modo de contacto es bastante sensible a las tuberías metálicas que pasan por detrás de la pared, lo que puede dar lecturas algo confusas si no sabes por dónde va la instalación. Como detalle práctico, me fijé en que la pantalla se lee perfectamente incluso en rincones oscuros gracias a la retroiluminación, pero conviene quitarle las pilas si no vas a usarlo en mucho tiempo, porque el compartimento cierra muy a presión y cuesta un poco abrirlo luego. Es una herramienta que te ahorra mucho dinero al saber exactamente si una mancha está seca o si hay una fuga activa antes de llamar al pintor.

Utile et précis.

You get what you pay for and that’s very true of this product. Cheap. Not reliable. Sensors very prone to not reading material moisture. Sometimes didn’t turn on, sometimes stopped randomly.
