Needs commentary
Donna hays cookbooks are visually gorgeous. But the lack of comment or description of the recipes bothers me. You get a picture, you get a recipe. She doesn't tell you ethnic derivation, or why this chicken dish over any other. As someone who can't always tell how a recipe will be from reading it, I really want the author's take on why and how a particular recipe works.

Most visually beautiful cookbook for healthy recipies
Not just foo-foo recipes, practical and gourmet embracing all food groups with lots of fresh produce and reasonable portions. The recipes are unique and not just a version of something I can find in any cookbook. The format is the most visually beautiful cookbook I have found including close ups of healthy produce that will inspire anyone to want to try the recipes. Where most cookbook formats share recipes you can find online or don't provide a color picture -this one is my go-to prize in my kitchen (see uploaded pictures).

Great book for experienced cooks willing to track down word ingredients
Great cookbook with creative and interesting healthy (or at least healthier) nutritious recipes. I'd recommend this for seasoned cooks and anyone who loves amazing food photography (the pictures will inspire you to try the recipes). For those newer to the kitchen, the instructions and tips may be a bit sparse. Also, many recipes require oddball ingredients you can't pick up at a normal grocery store, and no substitutions are suggested--so if that's not your thing, consider yourself warned.

I think this is a wonderful book to up your familiarity with what may seem like new and exotic ingredients, add to your vegetarian/vegan repertoire with plenty of flavor, and generally, make cooking a little more adventuresome, varied, and healthy. I made the crispy tofu recipe, and the harissa eggplant, and they were well received. You may want to stock up your larder with a few new items before you get cooking. I've discovered pomegranate molasses and harissa are fantastic to have around.

love this book
The book itself like a treasure for a photographer. I am eating with my eyes on every page. I haven't cooked a single recipe, I keep it as a coffee table book instead.

I have loved Donna Hay's magazines for years and kept them all because they were a luxury to find in a random bookstore in the US, so I knew I would cherish this beautiful Cookbook. I have made a handful of the recipes so far and they are all so soul satisfyingly delicious and I look forward to continuing my way through the book.

A scrumptious winner
This has become my bible. Every recipe has been over the top yummy and full of fresh, creative flavor combos. Not strictly gluten-free but almost all recipes are anyhow, and the others can be tweaked. And even if you hated every recipe, the photos are so drop-dead gorgeous you could just eat the pages instead.

Great recipes and amazing pictures
Great recipes and amazing pictures. My food doesn't come out like the pictures haha but the recipes are great and easy to follow and most importantly most of the ingredients are in your own kitchen!

Enjoying this book immensely!
I love Donna Hay so I may be biased. Her recipes are easy to make, very fresh flavours. I am trying to eat more veggies and this book provides a lot of great ideas.
