It's the real deal
Living in deep south Texas there's allot of sausage. Everykind you can imagine. I'm born & raised on long Island in NY. I've looked far & wide to find the real deal in kielbasa. This is it ! The shipping could be better but the flavor is right on time. GOOD STUFF. Waiting for two rings to arrive today. 🍻

….. BUT, not as advertised, beware
Having worked in a German Pork Store in NY for over a dozen years, imagine my surprise when I opened this package and saw the very sausage we sold as a subset of our Brand… This advertised as Alex’s Meat as the manufacturer, came from Brooklyn. The package was simply double wrapped in usps plastic, then a cardboard envelope. Luckily, I’m in Denver, so it stayed cool. The mailing label said shipped from Massachusetts, so who knows what is going on there. Being in this business, it’s likely he paid for his name on the label… all in all, good sausage, the smell is the same as it was for that decade, though I have serious doubts as to why I paid 25.00 ea for two rings. I’ll not order again, if for no other reason than improper shipping and refrigeration, regardless of who actually made it.

The product is probably wonderful but the delivery may have ruined that.
The package that had Perishable in very red letters. Was left on my front porch. No one rang the doorbell or even knocked. The package was left just barely on my porch and in hot sun. Groceries are very expensive no matter where. If because of the heat it isn't fit to eat.I will talk to the person who delivered it and their supervisor. I'm sure the product is wonderful but maybe I'll ask for faster delivery.

"Polish" flavor left in my mouth !
Sausage was a little too greasy, but I was having withdrawals so we ate every bit! What I truly appreciated was getting it without doubling the price with postage. If I would have had to pay $50plus for this, it would not have happened ! After wrapping slices of the kielbasy in fresh baked crusty but soft bread, the flavor lingered for hours and I was in heaven ! Getting to where I will have to order more - though I am looking for a really strong garlic kielbasy ! We are Polish and having been raised in Saskatchewan on the farm, I will always be looking for the perfect Polish kielbasy !

Authentic, Delicious, Quality.
In the USA one is hard tasked to find quality, authentic kalbasa. Schmaltz's on the East Coast. Mikolajczik's (Polana) in Chicago. Srodek's in the Detroit area. This sausage ranks in quality with them. It is what I know as Moscow style. Very good - will buy again.A cut above, say, Kowalski. While the various ear and snout, scrap meat and organs, lard garbage (Think hot dogs made into a type of Slavic sausage) of Ekrich, Hillshire Farm, Oscar Meyer, etc. are not in the same league as this smoked sausage. Of course, if that and how that is spiced is what someone is used to, that is what someone should buy. But if you prefer traditional kalbasa with a natural casing made from good cuts of meat, this is a delicious, quality product. And quality is worth paying for.I would ask the makers to perhaps consider a little more garlic. I personally prefer chopped or coarse ground to medium or fine ground. Making a blackened casing, Russian hunters' variety would be nice.

GREAT KIELBASY
It has the great flavor I remember from when I was a kid in the 1950s through 1970s. Shipping was a possible problem because the ice pack in the package was not frozen. But it was in good condition. It’s a thick kielbasy like I remember. It’s not raw and a bit of warming in a microwave creates some dripping fat. I am 50 percent Belorussian, 1/4 Russian and 1/4 Ukranian because of my grandparents and they would have loved it. (In Polish it would be pronounced Kielbasa)Update: delivery conditions have been criticized in the past. But the delivery two days ago (7/30/22) was wonderfully changed. It was packed in a styrofoam chest with frozen ice packs. Great job.
