sure but the four corners have holes

Q: Can this be used with the “magnetic picture pockets”?

Although it says magnetic, I have not found any magnets strong enough to stay on.

Q: Can you mount the marker holder the other way so the board is tall instead of wide? Also, how is the glare/reflection?

The marker holder has a sticky back, so it can go anywhere you want. On the white dry-erase board, the glare isn't an issue for me, but that will depend on the lighting in your location.
