Great choice
These tools work fine for most applications. I needed the ability to open larger case backs up to 45mm and this purchase solved my problem!

Better than the other types
People should be aware that the 3 point type included in most of the watch tool kits is the (((small))) version that won't fit cases larger than 42 mm. (Guess how I found out...) Unless the kit specifically says you are getting a large case back opener assume it's a small one. Overall that 3 point type just looked like a problem waiting to happen. Too many moving parts and poor quality parts. Do I just order a bigger one? Umm... no. Then there is the 2 point with a thumbscrew to adjust the width. Not enough leverage there, having to twist it between your thumb and index finger. And it doesn't appear you can lock the width in place. So... no. Glad I got this one. Simple, with a substantial handle to apply as much leverage as you need without losing control of the tool. And sometimes you need a lot of leverage. My only complaint - and others have noted - is it can be a bit fussy tightening the adjustment screw and not misadjusting the width you want in the process. You may have to adjust and tighten more than once to get it right. Once you do you have a rock solid tool at just the right width. Missing parts? Mine didn't have missing parts but the smaller one came unassembled. So you screw the part in place. Did youse people check the bag for that part? I doubt you will ever need to use the smaller one anyway. I like it. No regrets.

Good tool for the price
Got this to remove batteries from my watches while me move. I have several large 45-50mm watches and the standard 3 prong case opener was too small. These work great but the build quality is a bit low. They work, but the pins rotate a bit even though they are slotted to pit the bar/handle. Again, good for the price.

GREAT tool
Received this product and replaced two batteries in no time. I originally had a 3 point wrench and could only get it to work using only two points on the devise; and it still took me for ever to get the back off the watch. I have several screw type watches so this is a must tool. It did not come with instructions but I had the information from other wrench. As other reviewers have noted I probably don't need the small wrench but as the saying goes; "If you don't have it you Can't use it".

Got the job done
I was replacing a battery on a watch of mine and had quite a hard time trying to remove the back cover because the removal tool was too big. I ordered these on Amazon and removed the battery cover without a problem. If there's one drawback, you have to get used to sizing the teeth to the cover but once you do, the back cover comes out pretty quickly. This little tool is very good and gets the job done quite nicely.

I have many watches over 50mm in size so getting a tool to remove back case was extremely hard to get. Only way to get batteries changed was at a jewellers and quite expensive. Came across this device which works perfectly. Easy to use, good quality and reasonably priced.

It is useful for watch repair use to open the back lid.
