This filter can be referred to as “hepa-type” which causes lots of confusion for buyer because of this creative wording. The last two filters I had purchased from this listing seem to be from a bad batch and had a slight stale odor (I tested by running the myair without the filter and no stale odor). I have since ordered replacement filters from an offbrand on Amazon that are also H13 HEPA filter. **Q: Is this an activated carbon filter?** A: No, this is a 3-in-1 Replacement Filter for the MYair. This High Efficiency Filter captures 99.7% of microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns and effectively captures unwanted allergens and odors including pollen, pet dander, dust, smoke, odors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). **Q: Does this fit 2905A?** A: No, you will need BISSELL part number 3389 for the 3905A MYair HUB. **Q: in part of description, it says its high efficiency + carbon, but bissell answered someones question and said it was not hepa? which is it?** A: This is not a true HEPA filter which are H13 and higher or atleast 99.97%.
