Due to everything being done via phones lately for example get on train show our travel card, go to a venue show our tickets, worry about whether we are going to have to show our travel card late at night on the way home. This is the first time that I felt that I didn't have to shut my phone down and I was able to take pictures and document our day out. My son lives off grid and we bought him four extra ones, they are amazing for someone who makes there own electric, knowing they can recharge their phone and tablets at any stage. Brilliant invention and they hold their charge so well.

Pack has been great. Cables still working and holding charge 2 years on. Solar panel needs very bright, direct, sun to charge. Doesn't work hanging off a backpack while walking etc.Iphone is via attachment.

Holds a good amount of charge, and the built in cables make it super handy.BUT.... the solar charging doesn't seem to work. I can get it to start charging, but after a few minutes ot stops like it cuts out, even in bright sunshine.

Seems well made & sturdy with none of the nasty smelling plastics that are common coming from the PRC.Very useful item to have around in these uncertain times, with plenty of storage capacity, though the built in solar panel is limited, so don't expect too much there, but better than not having it I say. Nothing stopping someone connecting a larger USB solar panel array to charge this though.Someone mentioned in an earlier review about the small supplied strap being leather...I'm not so sure about that, with an unusually super supple feel & a fibrous backing, which might be worth looking in to? Dropped one star for the strange strap material, which MIGHT contain asbestos, but waiting for clarification & will update accordingly. If fit does, then my rating would be ZERO.Also just noticed that the brand name "DAMIPOW" is printed upside down on my sample.Update from seller about the strap:"Thanks for your waiting. The factory replied us, the strap is Ultrafine fiber PU resin, does not contain asbestos. Sorry for the trouble. Any other questions please feel free to contact me. Best Regards"Appears to be splash proof at the least, but not submersible, which is very useful & of course should help the solar panel get better exposure on the outside window ledge rather than on the inside window sill for charging. Many modern windows have effective light filtering coatings, which are likely, along with the glass itself, to severely reduce the useful light getting to the panel.The built in LED light is quite diffuse & not super bright due to the sealed translucent lens but it's still very useable & a welcome addition, with 4 settings...on, flash, strobe & off.Very pleased with this solidly built good looking device for less than £20, especially with the additional discount & next day free delivery.Update:Dropped a couple of stars because when I tested the device & the charge from very strong artificial & moderate sunlight entering the built-in solar panel, it is largely cancelled out by the lit LED's...so VERY limited, it's next to useless. Just a little frustrating with the false claims on these devices.Otherwise still a good power bank for under £20 delivered & managed to charge it slowly with a separate folding solar 4 x panel.BTW, I think the 5 star review above is fake, as so many have confirmed that the built-in solar panel is next to useless.

This is such a handy piece to have, bought it for son as he started secondary and had several trips coming up, the battery power lasted to keep him fully charged and to use the handy little torch which is built in, nice and solid and quite light. Absolutely love the different chargers attached and the seperate iphone piece that come with, works for all phones and gadets.

Bought this as going camping for a week, followed the instructions before use. Thought it would be a brilliant piece of kit to have . Whilst away we managed to get 1 phone charged from the pack after It had been fully charged by the mains, but found the solar panel doesn't charge had it in the sun all day, popped my phone on and got 1 dot and the pack died . No good if you're going to rely on this to charge your equipment . We ended up having to switch phones off to save battery or charge via the car when out driving. What's the point of having it if you need to charge that at the mains as well !!!

Bought this as my battery on my phone is a bit old. Seems to work very well as a backup.

This battery pack is great when I need extra power for my phone and iPad when I’m off grid love it
