I put some of the larger pads under a 300 lb desk. Before anytime we wanted to slide the desk, it would cut into the floors. Now, the desk glides easily across the floor. It still takes some muscle to move the desk but nothing like before. Unfortunately I put these on all our dining table chairs and when people sit in them and slide around the pads come off, so they don't really work very well in that case.
