A cute plastic BJD, better quality than I expected
This 12" 1/6 BJD was better quality than I hoped for. I have bought a few similar dolls, wanting to have some inexpensive background characters in photo shoots with my genuine Iplehouse BID and KID BJDs. Some have been better than others--this is one of the better ones IMO. It does measure 12" (or just a tiny bit below, bald). It has a 7 1/4" head circumference for wig size. It is oversized compared to BID/KID, however, so is not an ideal companion for those--they will not share shoes, wigs, or clothing. Chest is 5 5/8", waist is 4 3/4", and hips are 6 5/16". Foot dimension is 18mm x 40mm (so shoes would need to be slightly bigger than this inside). The skin tone is dark tan, probably a bit darker than Iplehouse Light Brown. The brown eyes are pretty with long lashes, but are not easily swappable like a real BJD's would be. The number, placement, and operation of the joints are good. The lower body (hips, legs, feet) are maybe a bit chunky, but overall this is a cute doll worth the price of $23.00 that will be fun when wigged and costumed.

Great for price, and simply adorable after customizations
I adore this doll! It took me a little while to get her wig and eyes figured out, and find outfits that fit her. After some trial and error, I found she fits in most 1/4 scale bjd clothes available on Aliexpress. Just make sure the model dolls have similar body shapes to this one's and you should be fine. Anyway, I finally got everything and an outfit so cute I dont want to take it off her! I'm beyond thrilled! However, because this doll is cheap, there are some issues. Cons: Not the most possible. She's a little stiff. Her hand only just reaches her face, and her knees are incredibly stiff which might be because the knees click into place (which is a good thing in my mind. Helps with stability I think.). Her nails were painted, but done really badly. One foot looked like the toes had just been dipped in translucent pink paint instead of painted and some of the hands had similar issues. Not the worst thing ever, as I can remove and repaint, but its annoying. That's all. I have no more complaints. On to the pros Pros: Holds poses well Easy to find clothes/wigs/eyes/shoes Perfect to take along on an adventure as she'd fit easily into a bag or purse. Great face up. Seems to be high quality. I also wanted to mention, I wasn't in love with her when I bought her. I saw a review saying that she looks better after adding a wig and custom eyes and the right outfit, so I took a chance, hoping the other reviewer was right, and they were!! She looks vastly better in person and after she's had a wig and eyes installed.

Decent Doll
The joint move fine but seem to slide around. My first one was defective but the second cam fine. This pic is second girly, she's much sturdier then first girly. Interesting Facts: They fit stretchy curvy Barbie clothes and nanana doll wigs. Note: The hands were a different purchase.

Really good quality for price!
(fyi, the skin is darker IRL, my kitchen light just washes color out real easy) I'm new to the whole BJD thing, and the character I want to make is African American, so finding a good quality doll that actually has dark skin is very difficult since so many companies only make fair-skinned dolls. This one was a blessing for me, because not only was it affordable and close to the correct skin tone, but for the price I expected okay-ish materials, cheap joints, etc. but this is actually a very nice doll! It's made mostly of the typical doll body rubbery stuff, the joints and torso are plastic, and the pieces are well fitted but all are easily removable, so you can paint details without worrying about touching other pieces. And even better is the fact that the doll came with tiny shoes too 😭 This will be perfect for the project I'm doing, and I'm really happy with the quality :D

It is OK, but the arm broke immediately
My kid likes the look of the doll. The arm broke immediately, but my kid kept it because we did not want to deal with the return.

The black doll is not customized (it looks exactly like my other, "regular" UCanaan doll)
Don't get me wrong; the doll is cute, but the black doll I received is the same as my other doll that came in with a complete clothing set. I cannot see the difference in the painting method, and the price of a nude doll is the same as of the one that comes fully dressed, so buy a dressed set. Also, the doll didn't come with extra shoes or anything (this might be a coincidence, because my first doll did come with extra pink sneakers), so I will be returning it and maybe get a second fully dressed one. P.S. I got another customized (white) doll with green eyes (I LOVE the eyes and the color) and extra hands. This doll is lovely. I'm not changing my rating because the first doll didn't match the description at all (and unfortunately, I cannot write the separate review for the 2nd doll), but I am putting her photo up so that you can see her and maybe decide to get her. :)

True to image, easy to customize!
I love the doll so much. The back plate is more secure since it's a twist off, the makeup, eyes, and eyelashes are easy to remove. I suggest not melting the putty as it shows in the pictures, you can honestly just pull it all out fairly easily. Use acetone or nail polish remover to take off the face up. I suggest not letting the chemical sit once it's removed the makeup and wash it off. I also suggest not using the velcro straps and invest in a rubber wig cap instead, you can find them here on Amazon or on Esty and other sites. Doll does come with shoes!
