Wife recently completed her bachelor's degree online. She tried to treat it like it wasn't a big deal, but it was. She really worked hard to finally get it in her 50s. So I didn't want her to just put the diploma away somewhere in a closet. I looked online for good diploma frames, and took a chance on this inexpensive option. It fit her diploma perfectly, and looks just as good as much more expensive frames. If you're holding it in your hand and inspecting the back, you can tell it's cheaply made with inexpensive materials. But hanging on the wall or sitting on a table or desk, it looks fantastic and nothing gives it away. Would buy again.

I would suggest avoiding this particular product and instead suggest buying a frame with a glass insert, which is available at a similar price. The plastic scratches even when simply wiping it off with a paper towel, leaving scratch marks that distract from the document inside from there on out. As such, I ruined the frame upon opening it. I wiped off all the dust with a paper towel just to discover that I had ruined the cheap plastic in the process. Buy a frame with glass. I did not realize that this was plastic before buying.

In general, this frame looks good and is easy to use. The back is easy to open and close, the glass is clear and comes with an easy to peel-off plastic sheet on both sides. Overall it’s attractive and sturdy. However… the mat isn’t cut correctly. It’s off/crooked by a small amount, only a few millimeters which isn’t much, but it’s enough to make the document look bad. I am using it for now to protect the document which I cannot replace without a substantial fee, but that is only until I can find something of a better quality. You get what you pay for. If it were a photo with the subject in the center and no details around the edge this would probably be fine. But when it’s a document with a detailed frame it just looks bad to have a non-squared off mat. That said, otherwise this frame is decent.

It was a pretty frame. Pretty disappointed because I bought on prime day to save some money. I thought it might be too small with the mat, but that I was prepared to be ok with. Turns out the frame was about 1/8th maybe 1/16th of an inch too small for my shsu diploma. Very disappointing to have to send it back and still not have a frame for my diploma.
