I am a knitter, and I have a little stash of wool as well as several nice garments that I have knitted. I was moving to a basement unit and did not know about the humidity level and the possibility of having moths (Yikes!). So before moving I store everything in those bags. It allowed me to organize everything really nicely and to locate yarns and garments very easily. One bag can easily hold 3-4 sweaters. You gotta love that!

So far having used 2/3rds of the package, the bags are working fine. To store clothes, if squeezing as much air out, they do achieve a good "vacuum seal", at least air is not getting in and blowing up the bags again. Goof for use in the kitchen, I'm assuming they're food safe. Reviews of other people said they rip at the bottom easily; so far not for me, except 1 bag that I had in the freezer with a ciabatta loaf type of bread, so I guess the semi pointy shape and freezing temperature did weaken the plastic, but other than that, they're holding documents, clothing, and other items well. Recommended and I would buy more.
