Super Moss (26911) Spanish Dried, Natural, 8 Ounces

I was grateful I read a review from someone else who said this moss could be messy when you pull it out of the bag. I took my plants outside to put it in the pots. That was great advice. That being said, this moss is so nice for indoor and outdoor plants. It gives such a finished look to the inside plants.The outside plants are retaining moisture by having the moss on them. One bag covered 2 small and on large pot generously. It is natural and I like the way it looks in the pots. I will get this again for next years outdoor plants. I recommend it highly, but be aware when you pull it out. It is all connected and sheds quite a bit. I tore it into pieces to put in smaller plants.

This stuff was just what I wanted to top off my planter pot for my olive trees. Some people complain about it making a mess, but here is the deal. If you don't try to pull it apart too much and you just stretch it around gently, it doesn't cause much of a crumbly problem. If you break off a bunch of pieces, it definitely leaves a grassy mess that you just need to vacuum up. I did both methods for two different trees and wasn't mad about it. It is a neutral color. It does not smell. It really gives a classy touch.

This stuff was perfect!! I used it in an indoor planter that I have a faux olive tree sitting in. It's beautiful and made it look expensive! I would definitely buy it again!!

This moss is fantastic! It is dense and not flimsy. You can use way less than normal moss. Nice color also.

I didn't read reviews carefully before purchasing, so I had no idea what a complete mess I was in for the moment I opened the bag and tried to pull some out. Tiny pieces of the moss get EVERYWHERE. I had a trail behind me as I walked just bringing a handful of it from one room to the other. There really doesn't seem to be a way to avoid it, other than having someone follow you with a broom or a vacuum as you place the stuff. That said, it looks good once it's safely in the pot. Trying to focus on that rather than the little pieces of spanish moss I'll be finding on every surface of my home for the next five years.
