I really like using the wands rather than the wipes, because I hate having sticky fingers. It also seems to be a little more hygienic, since my hands are a little more removed from the skin and ostomy. I also like the barrier film itself, which really helps prevent irritation from output and adhesive. (I am a caregiver.)

This really works if you have an allergy to adhesive. You can carry your own with you to the hospital for surgery just in case your hospital doesn't care them yet.
