These pants are great. Very comfortable, they don't fall down, they are LONG, and they have a ton of storage in very useable places. I've only had them a month or so, but the durability seems great.One of my complaints with other work pants was always storage location. Sometimes the pockets are just too high up to be easily used. That is not the case with these. The phone pocket is in a great location and the clip on tool bags are so handy. When I'm done working, I can just unclip them and set them aside for the next day.Finally, it's awesome they make these in 36 length. Other brands stop at 34 or even 32. I'm 6'3, so getting the knee pads in the right place and keeping my socks covered when I bend down is critical.Highly recommend (even if the price is tough to swallow. buy once cry once I guess.

These are definitely the best work pants I have found. They have an option for knee pads which I put a silicone trivet / mat inside. It fits perfectly and is light-weight. Durability is excellent, flexibility is great - plenty of pockets and a protective inside pocket for sharper tools.The ONLY thing I would add to these pants is additional protection/stitching at the corner of pockets where you clip a pocket knife or utility blade. That area will wear out over time. Amazing pants, but not cheap. Better to buy a few of these than replace something half price in a few weeks.

As a carpenter, I love having pants with built in knee pad pockets. I've tried various brands and styles, and these definitely fit the bill.The Caterpillar knee pads fit in the knee pad pockets easily, and I love that there is a divider in the knee pad pocket allowing me to put two knee pads into each side, which is helpful if I ever know I'm going to be on my knees a lot, like if I'm doing tile work.These pants are very water resistant. I wouldn't say they're exactly water proof, but for the most part they do a good job keeping my legs dry when I'm doing anything related to liquid (power washing, working in the rain, cleaning tile/grouting, etc.)My first pair lasted me over a year before one of the legs got caught on a nail and ripped open. I immediately ordered another pair.The knee pad pockets do seem to stretch out a bit over time, so after about 9 months of using them I found I had to use more knee pad inserts or else keep shifting the knee pads around in order to keep them where I wanted.The detachable pouches are a nice feature, but I rarely use them as I usually have a fairly large tool belt on. It's nice to have the option to just use the small pockets for those times that I know I won't be needing ALL of my tools.The waistband is just flexible enough to be comfortable without making the pants feel too loose.These pants don't hold a candle to the Blacklader X1600, but at about half the price you really can't go wrong.I work hard, and I work a lot, so getting about a year out of my first pair of these was completely acceptable. I'm still using my new pair, and so far they've held up to all sorts of tough jobs.Definitely recommended for anyone in the building trades.

Tough well made work pants. I like how the inside pockets can be put on the inside if not being used and it's reinforced in all the right areas. Lots of pockets but doesn't go overboard with them. They're not too heavy either. Very happy.

I got these primarily for the knee pad pockets, get the pads to go with these. Game changer for old knees. I just bought a 2nd pair. The water proofing is great for power washing.

I do warehouse work that also requires me to be outside regardless of what the weather is like. That being said these are the best pair of work pants I've ever owned. Very comfortable and the material feels very durable. Soooooo many pockets and you can actually bend over with a pen in your pocket and not stab yourself. They're great I can find different ways to try and dress it up but plain and simple if you're on the fence about these just get um. Totally worth it. I'm going to buy another pair and keep them tucked away just in case they go out of style I'll have another pair on deck. I Also purchased the knee pads and they fit just fine just remember don't go to long with your pant leg or the pads will be off center every time you kneel down. They run a bit baggy and long so keep this in mind.

The 2nd pic is the front of the pants showing how pristine the rest of it's held up, and I folded over the seat area to show that the pair with the ripped butt is the same pair of pants which still look new from the front. (Just didn't want anyone thinking I was gonna take a pic of a tattered pair in one pic and a new pair in the other pic).The knees in these pants are amazing. Material is very rugged. Waste fits well with just enough elastic to give when you need it. Crotch is gusseted and showing no signs of wear. Belt loops are substantial and still going strong. The black still looks black after many washes. The look and fit of these are also spot-on, and, with the exception of the breezy backside, I feel very professional working in these. The fact that the silly pockets are detachable is a win for me, since I found them useless for work, (but still would give these pants a full 5 stars; but for the butt.)I've purchased 8 or 9 pairs of these in the last several years and all fall victim to the same fate--ripped seat. To be fair, I should mention that I do have to crawl around on asphalt roofs, but I'm not dragging my backside while doing so like some dog in heat.It boggles the mind that CAT would spend so much time and effort assembling an otherwise perfect pair of durable, good looking pants, then completely skimp on the seat area. I have a hard time thinking I'm the only person who's noticed this shortcoming.

Son muy buenos pantalones para el trabajo pesado, son utiles porque tienen protección en las rodillas, son impermeables, cómodos y muy ligeros.Lo mejor para la mecánica automotriz.

Ist schon die zweite Hose dieses Modells (die erste habe ich mir mit Bitumen unrettbar versaut) und ich bin restlos zufrieden. Sitzt bei mir super, ist äußerst stabil und gut verarbeitet. Die einknöpfbaren Materialtaschen sind bei Bedarf sehr hilfreich, ansonsten werden sie halt abgeknöpft damit sie nicht nerven. Alles in allem eine durchdachte äußerst robuste Arbeitshose. Nicht billig, aber preiswert - klare Kaufempfehlung!
