It works
Use this on Coleman 533 petrol stove. It works nicely giving a good heat all over. I boiled a 24cm Saucepan of pasta for 7 people!

It does what has been described to do. I am happy with it. Only problem is that the overspills are hard to get rid of.

Quick, robust and good quality
I use this as a heat diffuser for a glass water kettle on a gas stove and it works fantastically well. It is quick to boil, robust, good quality and easy to clean. Being stainless steel it gets to heat very quickly and holds the heat so uses less gas as you can turn the gas off as soon as you hear and see the water coming to temperature - and it keeps the water hot for quite a long time after it has boiled as the base retains heat. I used to use a heat diffuser with holes in it but it fell apart pretty quickly and started popping bits of tin when heated. As this has a solid base it is likely to last much longer. Very happy with this product.

Slow to heat up
Expected this to allow me to use pans not designed for induction hob. I have loads that I cannot use from my previous kitchen. I particularly wanted to use my Tava for pancake etc., It does work but takes an age to get enough heat in it and diffuses heat soooo slowly I have put it in the back of my cupboard

Works, but not very well.
The plate works a bit, but you have to turn the heat right up to get water boiling and it takes 3 times longer to get there than with an induction pan.With the amount of wasted energy, you’d probably be better buying new induction pans.. plus you’d waste less time.

It works with my induction hob!
I have ordered numerous induction hobs and diffusers as I really like my ceramic pots and I did not want to get rid of them. This diffuser finally works! Thank you to my husband for patiently allowing me to test all these hobs and diffusers!!!

don't buy, it doesn't worth it
If you have an induction oven, buy new pans ,etc. It doesn't work as it overheats mine and stop working. It takes ages to heat as well. avoid.
