Excellent belt, better than the "name brand" Dickies one that I had before!
I previously used fabric adjustable belts, several were from Nike that had a nice buckle with good fabric and colors that were my favorite. I then got gifted a Dickies ratchet belt, similar to this one, and I rarely went back to the fabric ones as these look and function much better. The Dickies belt did wear out sooner than expected, and it also had a design flaw in that one of the pins that holds the buckle assembly together could loosen and fall out.Nevertheless, I was happy enough with it to go online and search for another one when I found these. These looked better, with lots of variations and were much cheaper as well so I ordered this one as a test. Now that I've had a chance to try it for a few weeks, I'll have no further hesitation in ordering more! The buckle is very nice and seems sturdier than the Dickies one. I haven't been able to find a similar flaw in it either, though time will tell as it took a long time before the other one broke. The ratchet release is in the opposite direction but as far as I can tell, that doesn't make any difference in function or quality. The quality of the belt seems comparable, if not better. If it shows wear too early I'll come back and update this, but so far it is holding up well. I'm definitely going to order a few more buckle/belt variations and I would recommend these to anyone buying a belt. If you haven't had one of these adjustable belts before, they are a total game-changer. No more having to go to the closest hole for the belt buckle even if it's slightly too loose/tight. Adjusting the belt in public is barely even noticeable to others, so no more embarrassing post-lunch maneuverings as you unbuckle, adjust, and buckle again, or for when you're at a concert or walking in the heat and need to tighten. Highly recommend.

Easiest Belt to use!
Super fast shipping. Way nicer than any department store belt. The buckle is heavy and the design is modern in a subtle way. The leather is very nicely switched and for a dress belt should last forever. What set these belts apart from a traditional belt is 1, the look of not having a tool belt on, and 2, this ratcheting locking style closure. I want all my belts like this! That one lever release is sooooo easy.I know, I know, "how hard is a traditional style, really?" and until you try this, you'll never know. To keep my pants up, I have to snug up. I have stuff to carry in my pockets. Even, dress pants. Average sized phones with a case, larger than avg EDC knife, wallet, keys. Yea, I snug up.With this ratchet style, it's like a military slide only better. That's because with a traditional or even military, you have to go past the snug point to juuuuussst geeeet thaaat laaaaast hole. Then again at the end of the day. These belts adjust to the right place and only to the point needed. THEN! That lever thing, touch it and boop, you're out.I know, a little over the top. But, what about those with limited mobility, or an injury, or is challenged in any way.I could see this being a better alternative for them as well as my fat butt pinching myself each time I wear the old style.Price, fugetaboudit! I bought this and another brand like it, only wore the other one because it has the blue in it I wanted for the outfit. But I'm not returning this one!It could wind up my fancy new tool belt. lol

An Excellent Belt, for a great price.
I've been wearing the same old belt for literally 20 years. However, it has stretched out, and I've recently become annoyed with the extra bit on that belt that sometimes falls out and starts flopping in front of me. This belt solves that problem, and also gives me much more control over how tight it is. The ratchet system gives me much more control over the tightness of the belt, and the ease of sizing it makes it easy to not have a bunch of extra belt material that can flop around embarrassingly. The only negative thing I can say, is that I foolishly didn't inspect how to operate the belt when I first put it on, and became slightly panicked when I had to use the restroom, and realized I didn't know how to take it off. Luckily, I had purchased 2, and was able to look at the other one and figure it out. So, make sure you know how to open the belt before you decide to put it on.Also, I've found that it can slightly hang-up when you're opening it, and it sometimes will require a little more strength than you might be expecting. Someone with a hand condition (or missing fingers) may have a difficult time with this belt.I'd definitely recommend this belt for anyone who doesn't have any hand issues.
