I love this butter flavored coconut oil! It’s perfect for popping popcorn and smells amazing! Definitely do yourself a favor and also pick up some Flavacol popcorn salt as well as some At-the-Movies butter flavored popcorn topping for that authentic movie theater popcorn taste! I have a little bambino 2.5 ounce popcorn popper that makes great popcorn! Here is my recipe. If you have a larger popper or want to make more simply double or triple the recipe.Here it is:Ingredients:1/3 cup Popcorn Kernels1/2 tsp. Flavacol Popcorn Salt2 Tbsps. Butter Flavored Coconut oil-Butter Flavored Popcorn Topping (As much as you like.)Yield: 2 servingsFirst add 2 Tbsps. Of Butter Flavored Coconut oil to your popper and heat up for 3-5 minutes.When the oil is heated thoroughly add 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels and 1/2 tsp. of Flavacol Popcorn Salt to the kettle. Let the popcorn pop until finished popping. Hubby has a dairy allergy & we have fallen absolutely in love with this coconut butter alternative. We have cooked eggs with it, used it with popcorn & found it truly complimented the taste. It’s not over powering or too coconut tasting. It does smell like movie theater popcorn oil/butter. Definitely will be purchasing more.

I was trying to find a healthier way to make fresh popcorn and this works great. Even better if you add popcorn salt too.

This is a great product and wonderful on popcorn. The only problem I had is the lid on the jar was badly cracked and unusable.

Makes the best popcorn, movie theater style!!

I watched a video on movie theater popcorn, where the person visited several theaters in NY and found that most used the same ingredients (not sure if it was true but I gave the recipe a try anyway). The ingredients are as follows: Preferred Popcorn (99% kernels popped and the flavor was really good), Flavacol Popcorn Salt (only a little is needed - great seasoning salt), and Golden Barrel Butter Flavored Coconut Oil (Great flavor - taste like butter; not oil). I would have to say that it was the closest recipe to theater popcorn I've ever tasted. I will purchase these ingredients again.

Makes delicous looking popcorn.

The jar came with a broken lid. the delivery packaged was not damaged, just the jar sitting inside. It appeared to be sealed but there was "butter" around the lid screws.
