This is a great Hammond aluminum project box.Beautifully die cast and machined with threaded screw holes.I bought the natural aluminum box for RF work, though I'm sure for what I'm doing a real RF person would consider it DC ; - )I bet one of the painted ones would look great for an Ecig mod box

All of the normal quality you would come to expect from a Hammond enclosure, however the price is a little steep for such a small case.

This is a very sturdy case. The diecast aluminum is much more rugged than the more common 12 gauge cases. The Hammond website is well thought out and provides detailed specs. The lid fits well and the overall finish is very good.

I have a UHF preamp that i built that fits perfectly into this case with 2 SO239 bulkheads and a pinhole drilled for a 22awg red positive wire and it is the perfect little case!!! Highly reccomended for any RF projects!!!!

I could not be happier with the quality of these. I use these for my home-built effects pedals and they look professional. The metal is soft enough for me to drill neat holes using a hand-drill (with the appropriate bit for the material); the case is sturdy enough to withstand daily real-world use. A great purchase.
