The Heart of Leonardo: Foreword by HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales Softcover reprint of the original 1st ed. 2013 Edition

This book captured my attention, as I am in medicine and also have a bicuspid aortic valve causing a thoracic aneurysm, so have always been interested in Leonardo’s fascinating and amazing valvular discoveries.

Extraordinarily beautiful book. Worth every penny.

This book is a major work documenting da Vinci's fascination with and understanding of workings of the human heart. The book costs about $150. Yet the binding is constructed of cardboard, much like a children's color picture book. The technical depictions in the book are astounding, but the binding CRACKED the very first time the book was opened. The publisher should profoundly ashamed of the poor quality materials used in the binding of this important, EXPENSIVE publication. The volume will clearly not stand up to even gentle handling. That his Royal Highness, Prince Charles placed his name on a volume of this poor quality is shocking.

this book is quite astonishing. How one man could master such a difficult subject so comprehensively is difficult to comprehend. Rush out and buy it while stocks last.
