So good, amazing blowout, definitely recommend!
I never write reviews but I love love LOVE this product so much. My hair is naturally frizzy/slightly wavy and on top of that, pretty bleach damaged. I’ve always used a straightener in the past which usually resulted in flat, sad hair. This styler gives me a blowout with SO much bounce and volume. It’s easy and quick, takes less than ten minutes on my bob. I only use it on the low setting— high is too hot. Just make sure your hair is ~75% dry before using… I’ve found that to be quickest and easiest. It’s truly a great product and I will never go back to straighteners!

This thing is so fun to use.. AND IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!
This is everything I needed! I'm a lil behind the 8- ball when it comes to hair care products. I never knew something like this existed! I had very curly hair my entire life until I turned 60. The hair I had always dreamed I'd have... happened! I have no idea why. Maybe this is a menopause thing? I don't know but all I DO know is now I've had to learn how to curl my hair!🤣 Talk about a dream come true. Now I can have straight hair if i want or curly hair.. IF I want. I NEVER HAD ANY OPTIONS!! So now I'm having to learn about hair care products I've never needed before. Starting with a curling iron. I got one of but I've burned the 💩 Out of my ears, my neck, my fingers AM AND my hair! I had to put aloe vera on my neck and ears and it got all in my hair and I was 🤬 I'm Not doing that again. Then came curlers... the old school kind that you roll your hair up wet. First of all.. mine looked NOTHING LIKE the pics you see if old ladies sitting under the dryer. You know, they're all evenly placed and spaced. Mine looked like I just stood back and let soneone throw them onto my head to see which ones stuck 🤣😅my goodness! I came out lookin like Shirley Temple on the good ship "Oh My God! WTF did i just do go my hair???😲 Next I tried hot rollers.. same problem but if just happened faster. One day I watched a YouTube video and a lady was using one of these. Now, hers was a $500 Dyson thing that came with more attachments than a Kirby vacuum cleaner but she was using the hot air round curling brush attachment. It looked easy to do and her hair is the same length as mine so I looked for one in my price range and found this Revlon round brush dryer. I used it on my dry hair with heat protective spray on the Low setting. It looks so pretty. These pictures are horrible of my face but you can see a little bit of the nice hair. It's SO MUCH LESS DANGEROUS than curling irons and it's much kinder to my hair (and my neck and ears) I'm going to have to learn how to use it. It's very fat..around I mean. It takes a lil to get used to maneuvering it around but it didn't take very long to get the hang of it. You should get one. It's just a nice as the Dyson Wonder-Tool AND...you don't have to take a 2nd mortgage out on your house to buy it. I used my bonus money from using my Prime Visa. It didn't cost me a penny. You should get a Amazon Prime Visa! They're great. I'm going to claim Amazon as a dependent on my taxes next year!! 😆 Try one out. You'll love it.

At least I can now turn it on and off and adjust the heat and airflow
I've had a Revlon round blow dryer brush for years. I'm 80 and can no longer move the hot/cold slider due to arthritis. This new one moves much more easily! As mentioned by others--high and cool are very noisy. Hot gets too hot. End plastic is large enough that you don't get burnt fingers. Low is good. Barrel is fairly large for shorter hair, but at least i can move the adjustment part! Please, Revlon, consider Baby Boomers as you create new products!

Honest Review of the Blow Dryer Brush / Reseña honesta del cepillo secador
English Version 🇺🇸 I really like this blow dryer brush; it’s practical for the price. I like that it has different temperature settings for different hair types, and the hot air output is decent. It doesn’t consume much electricity and the bristles are good quality. I bought it about 8 months ago and have been using it consistently with no issues. That said, if what you’re looking for is a true silk press effect or very flat roots and you have curly hair, this may not be the best option. My natural curl pattern is 3B–3C, but because of heat damage and dyeing, it has shifted more toward 2C–3A. In my case, it doesn’t fully straighten the roots unless you already have some kind of chemical process like a botox treatment, keratin, or a relaxer. It does leave a bit of frizz, although I think technique and practice with the brush also play a role. It’s a little noisy, but manageable. Overall, it’s good for a quick, practical blow-dry, but not for a professional-level straight finish.

Salon-Quality Blowouts at Home – Perfect for My 85-Year-Old Mom!
I bought the REVLON One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler (Root Booster Round Brush) for my 85-year-old mother, and it has been an absolute game-changer for her hair routine. She can no longer comfortably hold a brush and a hairdryer at the same time, and this tool solved that problem completely. Why We Love It: • All-in-One Convenience This dryer brush combines styling and drying in one easy step, so she can handle it with just one hand. no coordination struggles, no sore arms. She loves how easy it is to use, and it’s lightweight enough for her to manage on her own. • Beautiful, Salon-Quality Results It leaves her hair smooth, shiny, and full of volume, just like when she used to go to the salon. Her hair looks freshly styled every time, and she even says it looks better now than it did after her weekly salon visits! • Big Savings Over Time We’ve also noticed a big money and time savings, no more weekly salon appointments! She can style her hair herself whenever she wants and still feel put-together and confident. • Gentle and Effective The 1.5" round brush size is perfect for giving her hair that little lift at the roots and soft curls at the ends without being too bulky or hard to handle. Plus, it doesn’t tug or pull on her hair like some tools do. Final Verdict: If you have a parent or loved one who finds traditional styling tools difficult to use—or if you just want salon-quality hair without the salon price—this REVLON One-Step Dryer Brush is a must-have. It’s given my mom back her independence and confidence, and she couldn’t be happier.

Difficult to Use
This is a very cumbersome dryer brush. The dryer is quite heavy and the handle is very large and not good for small hands. Even when on the lower heat option, it gets very hot. Also, the control buttons are awkwardly positioned and you must put down brush in order to change. It does an okay job but Revlon should consider a new design.

Great Product!!!!!
Revlon Dryer Brushes are the best!!! I have the Revlon Dryer Brush 2 inch barrel and love it!!! I just bought this dryer brush because I cut my hair really short and needed a smaller barrel and this 1 inch dryer does the trick!!! Revlon has the best dryer brushes on the planet. Easy to use and dries my hair fast!!! Very convenient to use ---- only use one hand instead of using a blow dryer and a brush. Revlon Dryer Brush make drying hair super quick and fast!!!!! Buy it, you will love it!!!!!!

Good, but not perfect
I already had the other Revlon 1-step volumizer and hair dryer brush and was a big fan, but once I cut my hair shorter (it's now a shoulder-length bob), it didn't work very well for me anymore. My dream product was an old (cheap!) Babyliss hair dryer brush I bought around 30 years ago on a trip to London; I've kept it around because it's useful for travel in 220-240v countries. It was a great styling tool -- had a 1" barrel size and removable brush top so you could rough dry your hair just using the hot air out of the nozzle before styling it with the blow drying brush. Unfortunately, I dropped and broke it on a recent trip to Peru and so I was motivated to see if I could find a replacement suitable for everyday use in the US. Thought this Revlon 1-step root booster round brush might be the one! And it IS good, but it's not everything. First, the barrel size is still a little too large at 1.5"; I think a 1" barrel would be better. Second, it would be great to be able to remove the brush head for a rough dry (and maybe to be able to put on different attachments like a larger or smaller brush barrel or even a metal curling iron attachment, which would be heated by the hot air. Third, this dryer is insanely LOUD. In order to protect my ears, I've taken to using earplugs while I use this dryer. I don't feel the need to do that with any of my other blow dryers. Fourth, as others have noted, it does get extremely hot. The "hi" heat setting is almost unusable unless you want to fry your hair. I use this only on the "lo" heat setting, and then only after a rough dry with another hair dryer, and even the low setting is pretty hot. Lastly, the "cool" setting isn't very cool, and because the setting switch twists around the bottom of the dryer, it can be a little awkward to change the setting from a heat setting to a cool setting while the brush is in your hair (which is obviously when you'd most like to do it). A "cool shot" button placed further up the barrel would be much more user-friendly. All this said, it's a pretty decent blow-dry brush for a moderate price. It adds volume and I can finish drying my hair whilst styling it at the same time, which is good. If Revlon were to address all the issues described above, it would be an AMAZING tool (and I would pay more money for it, too)!
