Was für ein tolles Buch. Gut geschrieben, tolle Bilder und die Pappe hält einiges aus :). Klare Kaufempfehlung! Unser 6 Monate alter Sohn liebt das Buch total!

This book is part of a collection of board books that aim to explain difficult concepts for babies (I would say toddlers and preschoolers, even though babies will probably enjoy the cute illustrations). Titles involve Botany, Anatomy, Economy, Engineering, etc. So far I’ve only read this one about architecture and it’s brilliant! It explains the basic concepts of designing and building a building, the different materials used in construction, the architectural styles. I love that there are images (and names) of famous buildings and the last page of the book invites the child to build their own project. The simplicity and the board book style pleased my 18 months old but the subject also kept my 4yro interested - he asked me about the materials (wood, metal, brick), we had discussions about how heavy/durable the materials are, about the architectural styles, the famous buildings he knows. To me that is the perfect definition of a great book: it pleases and amazes children of different ages!

My sister-in-law is expecting and an architect, and she was so excited for a book that will let her share her interests with the baby. The book has beautiful illustrations and fun flaps, definitely a good find!
