Build up daily & it works
I had one before that I used daily while on the treadmill or doing abs PT. It's great, you can adjust the strength & build up over time. You will see results if you keep it up.

This is a good belt
I have used “The flex belt” for many years. I have worn it out and replaced it with another so many times. I am no stranger to a quality, efficient, user-friendly belt. It has almost become obsolete, hard to find, or when you do find it, it is at an exorbitant price. I have tried to replace it a couple times with copycats and have been very disappointed. This is a good belt! It is efficient, and easy to use. The only reason I did not give it five stars, is because after a week, the pads already wore out, and I had to replace them. As a daily user of my belt, I can see that this will be a problem for me if I have to replace the belt pads on a weekly basis. Other than that it works! And is very easy to use.

Awesome for strengthing core muscles and pain relief!
I was told before spinal surgery, I had a 50/50 chance of complete pain relief. After surgery, rehab and physical therapy I was still in serious pain. I thought my life was over. A Registered Nurse told me the FDA approved a TENS machine for home use. She said using the Slendertone would strengthen my core muscles which in turn would alleviate pain and help me to stand straight. If you use it every day you can have an active life and less pain!My first Slendertone worked great for 10 years when I tried using a gel with it. Don't do it, it killed it. My 2nd one works but after 15 years and weight gain I stretched out the belt. I just purchased a new belt and it is wonderful.

Flawed product
Worked correctly for about a week. Felt deep contractions. Now, after fresh pads, full charge, it basically just zaps my skin. No idea what the competitors are like but for the price of this unit I thought it was going to be the best. Save your money.

It does work
I do feel silly using this device but it does work. It is a supplement for a core exercises and do not rely on it for all your core. It can be used when doing something else so you basically exercise two areas at once. I use it in conjunction with a Supernatual (Oculus exercise subscription) workout.

All EMF, but slightly weak
I own other EMS and TENS/EMS units for muscle aches after workouts, and this thing is just a larger, weakness version of those. I have never used my other systems on my abs, but after getting the slendertone I decided to compare. The sticky pads are normal for an EMS, and the belt is decent and comes with an extension for bigger waists. The removable main control is small and easy to go get charged, and then easy to put back on the belt because it's held by magnets. The charge lasts for a few days worth of use, but depends on how much you use it.The bad are the programs... they make no sense. The other thing is the power...I work out a ton, and do a ton of ab work. I bought this for my wife and not for me. I'll be honest, it contacts abs, and gives you a good muscle stim, but will NOT help you lose weight. This thing composted to my other units is very weak. Overall good, but not great.

nice product, and weight loss!
I'm on a low carb etc minimal sugar diet...but I started using this gig and lost another 4 lbs, getting below 160 for the first time in ages. There is some research out there that supports some weight loss using this, not massive weight loss...but every little bit counts right?

buggy but ok
Used it a handful of times. It does a good workout when it doesn't give error. I had the older unit which required frequent regular battery replacements. Still works well (had it for more than 7 years with on/off moderate use when I get in the mode of toning up.. I figured I upgrade to this one in the hopes of getting a more upgraded intense program.. Well, the other day it started to glitch n it must have been my 12th time using it.. before that it was starting to give error messages while I'm setting up the intensity. It eventually recovered after I turned the power off and back again. I also make sure the battery is fully charged to get the fullest energy output .. overall, good system yes it gives a decent workout and helps tone the abs.. can be buggy/ glitchy, BUT a good lazy man's alternative to simply sitting on a couch doing nothing to avoid getting flabbier and growing a bigger belly.Update 2/22/23 changed my review to 2 stars. I put the device aside cause I was fed up w the buggy program system. Decided to use it again last week, now remember why I gave up on it. It worked one time without issues I could feel the intensity and then back to the bugginess with all programs (buggy: error sign, crazy pulses ) when and if it works it's awesome but that is "IF" so for the price you will likely get 10 sessions at best without problems then it's default becomes "error" with useless pulses after. Disposable trash.. still have their older model which works but energy is not as intense as this one could produce when it worked. Heading to recyclable trash now.
