HarperCollins The Seven Treasure Hunts

I've never liked books. This was my "first" favorite book. Bought it for my kids. They enjoyed it too. Nice to get our boys interested in reading

As a reading specialist, I'm always on the lookout for a book that will be interesting to boys who are reluctant readers. This is the one. It is a chapter book, but we read one chapter at a time and review what we read previously before we move on. I have to buy it again as the little boy I'm working with has already asked me if he can keep it when we're finished with it.

The story is cute, the thing that really bugged me is, like most people, I'm very visual. The book showed up with completely different cover art. The book cover art looked cheap, (mostly plain black with two boys on it) and unattractive. It gave the book a completely different feel. When trying to entice a young reader, well, they will judge a book by it's cover. The cover shown is what I expect when purchasing on this site. Otherwise, it's false advertising, sorry.

My 7 year old son received this book as a present and enjoyed reading it. Each chapter is a new treasure hunt, but it's all 1 story. We ended up buying another copy later on in the school year for a book swap.

This looks great as a Christmas gift for my 7yo grandson. Large print, many hand drawn pictures. I scanned it and it looks enjoyable but it is up to him. I recommend it and this seller, would buy again , and I hope this helps
