Jabsco32605 Series Marine ParMax 4. GPM Washdown Pump Kit

This is an excellent pump that performs exactly as described. I use it to transfer water from large drums in my pickup to water newly planted trees that are planted too far from the house for a hose. I had one identical to this one but it "jumped" out of the truck and committed suicide. I was so satisfied with the deceased pump that I bought this identical one to replace it.

I purchased a Seaflo 55 series pump kit and it lasted 11 months of light use. It came with a 4 year warranty but took almost 7 months to receive the warranty unit after mailing them the defective unit. I went with this one and it works great so far, but the true test is over time.

I replaced an older version of the same pump. Mounting holes even lined up correctly. Don't know if this is intended for salt water, but I installed a Tee fitting inline with the suction line so I can flush with soap and water from a bucket.

Just arrived today and I replaced noisy pump. I want expecting what I got at all. I was just looking for a little noise reduction. I can not hear this pump at allSeriously. I turned it on at the wall switch and there was no noise. I thought I wired it wrong. NOPE. It is just that quiet. Awesome purchase. So happy!

The pump stopped working after a couple of months, it was used less than 3 fishing trips

I needed two of these because the ones on my boat were bad. They work great. It wasn't a simple install but got them in.

The pump is fine. It lasts a few years and that's probably all one can expect from a marine pump like this. We have two systems on our boat that use identical pumps. We replace one or the other every couple of years. The typical failure mode is water leaking into where the motor/electrical controls are and then, well, corrosion does its thing.But -- DO NOT buy from this seller on Amazon. Probably just don't buy on Amazon. They sent us a defective pump (water had already been in the motor area when we got the pump) and then they charged a $25 restocking fee when we did the return. So -- this is a total scam -- sell a pump that doesn't work and if the poor soul returns it, charge them $25 restocking fee. Bad business.

I mounted the unit in the same place as he one I removed as I bought the same pump that was there. Wired and plumbed it turned it on the whole thing took 45 minutes very happy with the performance . Word to the wise check what amp breaker or fuse your pump requires
